Symphony No. 9 in D Minor: Study Score (Edition Eulenburg)

The Eulenburg Edition is a reprint of Leopold Nowak's version of the Ninth Symphony, which is based on Bruckner's original manuscript. If you have a recording of the Ninth Symphony by almost any conductor other than Hans Knappertsbusch, the performance will follow this edition (or another edition very similar to it, such as the recent edition by Benjamin-Gunnar Cohrs).The Eulenburg edition is 5-1/4 by 7-1/2 inches and printed reasonably well, although not nearly as nicely as the Kalmus Classic Edition (which, unfortunately, is based on the Loewe version rather than Bruckner's original manuscript).

Okay, I love study editions. But Bruckner - who fills his score - doesn't fit well into the format. Buy a large edition: your eyes will thank you.

Amazing piece and amazing pocket score for any ocasion

Ottima edizione di una partitura monumentale, scrittura ed impaginazione chiarissime, nonostante il formato tascabile niente è andato a discapito della facilità di lettura.Peccato soltanto non sia presente un elenco con le note al testo ed il glossario dei termini tedeschi, avrebbe reso questo volume veramente da cinque stelle.

Qualità di stampa molto bassa, assai lontana dalle vecchie edizioni Eulenburg.

Sehr gute Übersicht zum Mitverfolgen, während man die Sinfonie hört. Meine Lieblingssinfonie.

Durch diese praktischen Studienpartitur bekommt der Musikfreund ein viel besseres Verständnis für Anton Bruckners herrliche Musik. Überaus empfehlenswert für alle Musikliebhaber.

印刷のインクがとても濃く、トランペットの2nd 3rdの重なりがとても分かりにくい。ブルックナーの大編成ですので、やはり版が大きい方が良い様に思います。国内印刷があれがもっと読みやすいのが通例です。
