These walkie talkies are for my son and I to use in the house. Reception quality is fine for our property but these by no means work down the block. I live somewhere that isn't flat so I can accept the loss of signal (these are just cheap toys). They worked well for about the first month. However now we are seeing some issues arise. The PTT button doesn't work all the time and it can be a pain to push down at times. This leads to communication being temperamental at times due to the button not registering when you push it and not clicking when you push it. We are only a month in so I had hoped that we wouldn't be encountering any issues just yet but hey, like I said they are just cheap toys which in reality were a little cheaper than even I expected. If you just have an event in mind for a day or weekend these would work great but after daily use they aren't able to hold up to the test of time.EDIT - After leaving my previous review ^^^ the sellers got in contact with me and reminded me what customer service is! They apologized for the issues with the PTT button and offered a choice of refund or replacement walkie talkies. My son and I enjoy them so I opted for the replacements. We will try them out and are happy with the customer service provided! So far no issues with the new set or pushing the PTT button.

Kids absolutely love them. We have a 3 story townhome so they get used. Sturdy and durable, and I love that they can be recharged! Definitely recommend can’t wait to use them outdoors soon!

We bought these for our four grandkids for Christmas. Packaging was great and received in perfect shape. We unboxed them because we wanted to charge the batteries before wrapping them. To our dismay three of them charged very quickly but the fourth one did not show a charge til the following day. I was concerned there was something wrong with that particular battery so I reached out to customer service and explained the situation. They replied to me the very next day. The same day they sent me a new battery to make sure everything would be great on Christmas when the kids open their presents. If I could give them 10 stars I would. Their customer service is outstanding! My wife and I also checked them out to see how easy the were to use and how clear they were going to be. They are so clear. Our grandkids are 9, 8, 5 and 3. They are going to have a blast! Can’t wait to see them open on Christmas. This is a definite purchase if you wondered if you should or not. Highly recommend!

Update- after some time the company reached out and sent a replacement for our original walkie talkies. This was very much appreciated and customer service has been great ever since with communication. The replacement walkie talkies work great and I'm hoping last a while. :)I would have loved to give a 5 star for this item. My daughter received as a birthday gift and they worked great for about a month or two and then one of the receivers stopped allowing communication. It can still receive sound, but will not send sound. I reached out to the company first through email, before reviewing here on Amazon, hoping they would help us out being that they are brand new, after an initial response of we'd like to send this on to the appropriate team I have not heard anything back from them. If it were for better customer service and/or no defective product I would give it 5 stars for sure. My daughter loved them for the short period they worked.

These were given to a 9 year old to share with her 11 year old sister. We did a bit of product testing together so the children could decide whether or not to keep them. They found messages could be heard from the first floor kitchen to the third floor bedroom and later found they could hear each other a city block away. There were no buildings interfering with the transmission though. Needless to say the children are thrilled.

As you may note, previous review from me was before working with the Customer Service department with Qniglo. My opinion has changed to an excellent review. I explained how frustrated we were when walkie talkies arrived and 1 would not work, excellent customer service with no questions asked and product shipped within 2 days. They actually replaced both so we ended up with 3 walkie talkies. My 3 year old and 5 year old has no trouble using after instructions from Dad, 3 year old took a little longer but with the voice function she was able to use right away. They both find them easy to use, fits well in their little hands but, would work fine for children up to 12 or so, I think. They look nice and sturdy not like toys, colors are great. The sound quality is excellent. The children really enjoyed being in 2 separate cars using them while riding.
