It doesn't even stick very well to itself. I finally had to use a piece of "real" electrical tape to hold down the purple I used. Turned out OK in the end... but for it's intended purpose... well, I could have used a Post It Note and got better results.I am giving this a 2 stars because I purchased the multi-color pack and it did come in multiple colors (+1). One thing to note if you're using this for the "color" aspect, the more you stretch it the lighter the color gets, as if it fades. You'll notice your deep purple turn into a watered down faded version of purple... I wanna say Mauve?

The positive: The color variety and vibrancy of the colors is very nice.The negatives: The glue is VERY inconsistent between rolls. The best one sticks very well, like you'd expect from good-quality electrical tape (i.e. 3M). The worst one is as bad as perhaps a smear of honey. It'll barely stick to anything. And the relatively stickiness of the others lands somewhere in between.This is also not at stretchy as 3M tape, and doesn't rebound well. (I don't know if you all will agree, but I view that as the gold standard.) So assuming you're using the roll with the good adhesive, you might not be able to get a nice tight wrap with it.This is more cosmetic than anything, but when stretched the color of the tape becomes lighter.I love this tape for labeling ethernet and power cables, though I do generally put a zip tie over any tape used for that purpose because even the best tape can unravel over time (plus it makes for more color permutations when using colored zip ties).

I would suggest this for a coloring remedy for crafting and using the tape as a camping equipment. I Dont really suggest this for every thing...

Pretty cheap quality. Doesn't stick well, so the end of your wrap-around unravels leaving this tape pretty ineffective.

Will NOT stick to anything >>> NOT EVEN ITSELF! What a waste!Got this back in 2017 because I needed electrical tape and figured the colors were nice and I could use it all for different things> tool marking, boxing and labeling as well as for electrical wiring.I have now tried every one of the colors and have given up. NOT ONE roll of tape has successfully held anything together... the stuff on electric wires unwrapped within a few months and fell off. All the tape on tools has fallen off even when taped in layers around itself.Hate to add more plastic to the land fill but that's exactly where all of it's going tomorrow. Guess it's back to the original Black Electric Tape some of which is still holding its own after 30 YEARS.

I got this package of tape because I wanted the colors to label petri dishes for my board game, Pandemic. The petri dishes were destroyed so now I have a lot of electrical tape.I aired them out for a month...and the smell is still there. I now use the electrical tape for holding fabric together while sewing masks and they've worked out nicely in that respect.6 months later...the smell is still there if you pick up the tape roll and sniff it. There isn't a noticeable smell on the tape I've used. I've used the tape on the table for marking and the tape has stayed on for 2 months without fail. I also used the tape to label small little plastic bags and the tape peeled off there, so I might have to wrap the tape all the way around. Overall, I'm still satisfied with the product.

When I first reviewed this tape I write “This stuff may as well be considered ribbon since it does not stick to anything at all. Totally useless.” That was a very unfair review so I’m updating it. My comment was based on me attempting to tape up something in a restaurant kitchen and it not sticking. That was the wrong use for this tape. I have since used it as it should have been and I am satisfied. Sure, it doesn’t stick as well as other black electrical tape but it still sticks and the bottom line is it is several rolls of multicolored electrical tape which is cool and not something you find very often.

It's not the typical electrical tape. There is a lot of tape and variety for the price. However not sure it's worth is as it's not super sticky It has an awful chemical smell - really bad. It's fine for use for color coding moving boxes and for making crafts. I don't think it would work for long term use such as color coding cords etc.

We used this as part of our toddler friendly entertainment during April/May 2020We’ve stuck it on the windows, the colours are vibrant and made a beautiful rainbow and we’ve used them on the floor to make car tracks, ponds, flowers etc

Exactly as described, good tape, not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. Don't be tempted by the mega cheap stuff it's not worth it. This is good electrical tape.

Excellent tape. My son uses it for taping his shin pads in place in his socks.

This product was for my grandson who needed this colour tape for matching colour of football kit (now a FA requirement)
