I purchased this file set bc my son accidentally broke the largest file in a similar set I had and I really love the large one. I bought the other set on Amazon as well but from a different seller/different brand. So I figured I'd try a different brand to see if there was any difference. And there is! These files are a bit thinner and sharper on the edges. Which makes it easier to get al around the nail and shape them however you desire. I do like the other ones I have, but I find myself always reaching for these instead!! They are great quality and come with a sheath to store them in when you're not using. The pink cuticle pusher is an awesome item too! It works wonderfully at cleaning your cuticles up and the pointed end you can use for endless reasons! The largest file I use on my feet. In particular, it's very well for shearing down callouses and dead skin. I have a bothersome callous on the big toe and the large file cleans it up so nicely and quicker than a normal foot file. I absolutely love it!! I like to store the smallest one in my purse and I can't tell you how many times I've grabbed it while being out shopping or running errands to fix a rough spot. The best thing about these files for me is that they really have improved the condition of my natural nails. My nails have NEVER grown my entire life. They would split and peel and always hurt. It took 33 years to actually be able to grow pretty nails and I attribute that to using these files along with Essie's millionails treatments. I 💯% recommend these files!! Update:I still have the them years later! They have held up much better than other brands! I will definitely consider purchasing another set!Original review:The files seem to be high quality, I absolutely love the large file, it's grain is rougher than the smaller two so it does a Wonderful job removing callouses.It works best when you get the file or your skin slightly damp/wet to remove rough spots, dry tools just make fine dust.Wash off the files periodically to remove buildup that can hinder abrasion (better to wash them with each use if you can, they’ll stay like new.)I know from owning files like these in the past that they can be delicate, basically one drop and something will get chipped (usually that handy pointed tip). Because of that I have been very careful with them and cannot attest to their chip resistance. If that changes I will update my post. *Here’s that update! I have broken the two small files, one I sat on and the other dropped. They still were far more shatter resistant than most. The large file is still one of my favorites and only has a tiny chip out of it. This glass seems to be very good about minimal and safe breakage (limited shearing, so flat breaks that don’t make the file dangerous).The extra cylindrical tool is an Awesome addition, I love how it gives you a fine control over hard to reach areas.I always have one or two of these files with me. *This is still true! I have the cylinder and large file next to me right now years later!*

These files are so great. I was originally given one as a gift. I liked it so much that I bought more to give to my 3 daughters and several friends. I purchased this set specifically for the larger toe nail file and will probably give the others away as gifts since I already have two of the nail files myself. They make my nails smooth and file away very quickly. These never tear up my nails. I keep them in the case and haven't ever broken one. Very good purchase!

Ordered this back in December of 2021 and they still work just as well! I remember I bought this after seeing a YouTuber called Simply Nailogical praising glass files. I was skeptical at first, but after using those nitty gritty emery boards for years I got so fed up with them that I bit the bullet and paid for these glass ones. While they are on the pricey side, I don't regret getting them at all. They're great at filing both my fingernails and toenails and show no sign of breakage. It also comes with an additional glass cuticle pusher which works great too. I think this was definitely a smart purchase for me. Get them and your nails will thank you!!

I bought a crystal nail file in a hospital gift shop, years ago. Best file I've ever owned. These babies are extremely durable, lasted me a couple of years- well, before clumsy-me accidentally dropped and stepped on it, breaking it in half. I've been searching for these ever since. At one point, I thought I've found them, but they turned out to be the cheap 'made in China' version. Very disappointing. So naturally, I was a bit nervous about purchasing these, sight unseen. And boy was I glad I took the chance! As soon as I ran my fingers over one of files, I knew this is what I've been looking for. I totally ordered a few more! Once my girlfriends (whom I've dragged from place to place, looking for these) open their Christmas gift from me, they will finally understand why no other file satisfied me. ;)Since these are intended to last a looong time, I'd recommend they come up with a better holding case. That's my only concern. If you plan to keep one in your purse, I'd say placing it in your wallet, a book or someplace flat with plenty of protection will do the trick. In the meantime, I'll be on the lookout for a cute case!

I didn’t think glass would make a good nail file but wow these are great!! These are perfect , they somehow file fast but gently and leave my nails super smooth!
