Tastes pretty good. Has a slight peculiar after taste, like a very slight tanginess or bitterness, might be the type of cheese(s) they use, I don’t know. It had a thick, creamy texture, the noodles were chewy, the chicken bits were chewy. There are 2 servings per pouch, I ate half the pouch for dinner and it was filling. It would be better if they added some dehydrated vegetables like broccoli to make it healthier.

Left it for 30 min before eatting. Chicken pieces are still hard to chew. Tatsted like cardboard.

I picked up a bunch of these from my local grocery store because they had the money Clarence and now I know why. These are are not good, but if they are cheap and you're hungry they keep you going down the trail, albeit, miserable at every mealtime. I tried chili Mac and the pasta chicken Alfredo so far and both ...ehhhh. I'm glad I tried the chicken Alfredo at home because even after adding in salt, garlic powder and about a half cup of fresh Parmigian cheese it still is flavorless. I'm not going to waste it so I'm going to choke it down but I won't buy another one on purpose because of its still borderline after adding fresh cheese and spices then it's not a repeat mistake I'm willing to make. Also both of the flavors I've had, both beef and chicken, the meat doesn't rehydrate well at all. I've left both for 45 minutes and still had crunchy meat in them. Bland with crunchy meat... not my thing. It's rather eat a full package of instant idahoen mashed potatoes in one sitting for around a buck than spend near $8 or more on these. Be warned.

Good quality food for an emergency situation or just to have on the hike!
