Alfresia Classic Recliner Cushion in Francesca Grey

I am not really one to sit outside much as I like to be busy but I threw out my old mouldy chair cushions and bought 2 of these for the chair frames. They are a delight. So comfy. They looked much better on the site than anything I had seen in a garden centre or supermarket. Due to the current nice weather I have had my lunch outside 3 days running and have had a little nap afterwards! Thick padding but not too firm. The green trim is very nice and matches my green chair frames. Overall very well made with a securing cuff at the top and ties at the chair fold. Thrilled with the purchase.

Now I've had a chance to use my new cushion, convalesing for the summer, I'm happy enough with it. It was a bit long for my chair, but not a problem. However, i did find the filling wasn't thick enough and I often feel the buttons uncomfortable to sit on. Maybe I was spoilt with my old one, which I've had about 20yrs, though its still more comfortable than this one, just looking scruffy.

Used to replace cushions on a couple of older but still serviceable recliner chairs. Very comfortable; colouring and pattern design very suitable for more traditional garden. Best stored indoors when not in use to avoid damp and mice! Well made and finished.

Excellent "John Lewis" quality replacement cushion. Cotton cover with a pocket at the top back to fit over top of chair. Our 18in wide chair just fitted snugly.

Padding too thin for top comfort as advertised. Really overpriced as the material on rear of cushion is wafer thin and wont last - will probably have to replace at end of the summer but forewarned NOT to purchase these cushions again.

Purchased two of these 15 months ago to replace the original cushions which had lasted 20+ years. Only used them a few times as we moved house shortly after they arrived so we were not able to use them until about two months ago. On of them immediately popped two buttons which tore the material and allowed the filling out. Three weeks later exactly the same problem with the other. I have contacted the manufacturer but not heard anything.

These cushions are fabulous! Exactly what I was looking for. They are really comfy and the perfect replacement for our old set. The fit was as stated in the advert, and I love the colours. So pleased that I found them.
