Love being able to make partially used canned food last with these GREAT Alazco can cover LIDS!
Finally got around to getting can cover lids for those times when I use only part of my canned foods. Couldn't be happier with the 12 plastic lids from Alazco that hygienically seal the remaining food in its original can (rather than dirtying tupperware). It was actually a challenge finding HUMAN FOOD can cover lids (most are made for wet dog & cat food) but these get the job done well. 12 plastic lids for ~$11 is a very nice profit margin for the seller ... but given the reduction in food waste, they are well worth it. Another seller had lids that didn't fit hardly any of my canned goods (and were awkward to use) so I'm very pleased that these 12 Alazco lids readily and perfectly fit 3 of my can sizes. You get: 8 small lids (for canned corn, beans, etc.) 2 large lids (for canned large tomatoes/sauces) and 2 medium lids (fit the short jarred salsa from the grocery store). Thank for the great product!

Perfect for my needs!
Before I purchased these can lids, I had looked at many others...some claiming that one lid would fit multiple-sized cans. But I was offput by the negative reviews about not fitting correctly. These are perfect! The small size fits most of your normal cans which are 2-7/8" in diameter. I specifically wanted these for dog food cans, and canned pumpkin, and they are perfect. They are soft and flexible, but not flimsy. There is a tab which helps removing the lids from the cans. And I love that they are clear so I can easily see how much food is left in each can without removing the lid. The 12-piece set included 8 of the small...which fits the most common can size (refried beans, other beans, soups, canned pastas, etc.). The set also included four larger lids, but I haven't experimented on what cans of food in my pantry they will fit (and I really don't care *LOL*). I already ran these through my dishwasher on the top rack, and had no problems with warping, melting, or any damage. If you want one single complaint, they were original in their packaging when I received them, but they appeared to have tiny bits of industrial grease/lubricants on them. Not a big problem because I wash everything before it gets used. I can't comment on durablity because I've only had them for a short time, but they seem like they will last for quite some time. I highly recommend, especially if you are looking for great lids for commonly-sized cans.

They have a small tab to help in opening the lid
I primarily bought this product for covering cans for my dog's food (dog food, sweet potatoes and pumpkin for dogs, and other such cans.) I open the cans with a safety lid opener that leaves no sharp edges. In fitting the can lid on, I have to often smooth the edges to get them to seat down. It may be that the safety lid opener makes the edge of the can a fraction bit larger, but that is very minimal. The small tab for opening the cans might work better if the tab were wider. Opening the can with the small tab has lead to cracking of the plastic edges of the lid. On the photo, the transparent can lid is resting on a white bottle cap to raise it to where you can see the split at about 5 o'clock; it shows up as a dent with the bend in the plastic reflecting white light. There are also whited stress marks at about 9:30 and 10 o'clock. I happened on something that really works well! I had bought some Blue Bell ice cream in individual cups. I saved the lids from the ice cream cups and now use them on the dog food cans. They are perfect. The lid goes on easily and comes off equally well. November 2020 Update I changed the stars from 3 to 4. The ice cream lids are stiffer and slightly too large causing them to pop off in the refrigerator, so I have discontinued using them. Most of the ALAZCO lids are still usable. The secret is to smooth the lid onto the can with your finger on the top edge of the lid, being careful to go slowly and not allow the side edge to catch or pinch. The ALAZCO lids are flexible, but if you smooth them on too fast, they catch. My husband has more difficulty using them and the lids split and tear. One lid split at the corner seam between the top and the side of the lid. You have to be slow and deliberate to have these work. I am even considering buying the lids again as they seem to do a better job and last longer than other solutions.

Now I CAN keep my CAN tightly closed and its CANtents fresher, longer !!
I include B&M Brown Bread, Original Recipe and with Raisins, with my Evacuation / Survival food stores. The loaves are baked inside Tall No. 2 cans, which gives this tasty and nutritious product at least 2 years shelf life (and probably longer) and provides excellent protection. I use a "safety edge" style can opener to open the bread's can because the smooth, no-sharp-edges safety opener allows me to re-use the top end of the can I had removed to re-close the can. That works pretty well, when the end of the can is held in place with a rubber band (until the rubber band breaks, letting the end of the can to simply fall off). The can lid did an OK job, but still allowed the bread to dry out more than I wanted if I didn't finish the entire loaf of bread within two days of opening the can. I began looking for a better way to tightly close / seal the open end or ends of the bread's can that would let me eat the B&M Brown Bread over a longer number of days. A No. 2 can has a diameter of 3-7/16", so I began looking for a pair of 3-1/2" food product can covers. While searching on Amazon.com, I found the ALAZCO 12-piece, BPA-Free Can Cover set, which included two of the 3-1/2" diameter can covers. They had a good user rating, good sounding reviews, and the sub-$10 price was acceptable, so I ordered them. The ALAZCO 12-piece can cover set includes two Large can covers with a 4" diameter that fit perfectly on a large 12-ounce can of tuna (or a 12-ounce can of Red Feather Canned Creamery Butter from New Zealand that tastes so delicious on the B&M Brown Bread with Raisins -- a bit of decadence to go with your typical "open the foil pouch / add boiling water / stir and fold the bag shut for two minutes / then re-open and eat" survival meals). Also included in the 12-piece set are two Medium can covers with a 3-1/2" diameter that fit perfectly on a 19-ounce Progresso Soup can and probably an 18.6-ounce Campbell's Chunky Soup can (and on a B&M Brown Bread can, snapping snugly over the outer edge of the can and providing an excellent seal that keeps the bread moist for more than a week -- if I haven't eaten the entire can of bread long before that!). The remaining eight Small can covers in the 12-piece set have a 3" diameter and fit the majority of regular-size vegetable cans very well. Unlike many of the silicone material can covers being sold that can tear far too easily when you try to stretch them over the end of a can that's too big for it, or can slowly slide off of a can that isn't a proper fit for the cover, these ALAZCO can covers are made of a durable, transparent, BPA-Free plastic material that is similar to the lid on a tube of Pringles potato crisps. They will bend some, as you press them over the open end of a food can, but they won't stretch at all. They have a small gripping edge on the inside of the cover that snaps over the outer edge of the can you are covering, holding the cover snugly on the end of the can and helping to seal the can tightly. They also have a small tab on the outer edge of the can cover that you can grip to remove the cover from the can it has been sealing closed so well. You are able to tell right away if these can covers will fit a can or not. If the can is just a bit too large, the lid won't go on -- no matter how hard you try to press or squeeze the cover onto the can. If the can is just a bit too small, the lid won't stay on the can, easily sliding or falling off. If you are cooking for one person and don't want to prepare or eat more than one person's serving portion of a canned food product, these ALAZCO BPA-Free Can Covers in a 12-piece set can help you fix only the portion you wish and keep the rest fresh and covered in its original labelled can in your refrigerator, still easy to identify by simply looking at the food in the can through the transparent cover if the label comes off the can, without having to worry about the inside of your refrigerator smelling like the city dump / landfill -- or worse -- if you put your "leftover" ingredients in containers with loosely fitting lids!

Great Lids for standard cans! We use them all of the time!
My husband likes to eat canned vegetables, but doesn't use the entire can at one sitting. He would put them into the fridge with only foil over the can - ugh! SO, I am THRILLED to find, and use these. They are good quality, easy to use and clean, durable, flexible, and they are exactly what I needed to function as tight lids for the cans in the fridge. GREAT VALUE for the money!

Perfect
These are great to cover the pumpkin we give our dog. I do wish they sold only the big lids separately so I didnโt have to purchase the whole set every time my husband loses them - which he denies, but does all the time.

Not the size I wanted
I only need 3.25 inch lids for ordinary cans like a can of pork and beans. This was a package of 12 pieces that only had two 3.25 inch lids. I tried matching the other 10 lids with other cans, but none of them match at all. So, I got only 2 lids that really work for what I need. It is not really what I wanted. I would not buy this product again. 12-20-2025 I found one of the lids that matched my can of cranberry sauce from my Thanksgiving day of baking a turkey and stuffing and buying many cans of cranberry sauce. One of these lids fit this can. It measures right at 2.75 inch. So, I might be updating this review again in the future if I find more of these lids that fit my pantry full of different sized cans.

Versatile and a good value
Super happy with this purchase. I've been trying to find lid covers for a while that would work for all sorts of different can sizes. I've yet to find a can that one of these doesn't fit. Good value, nice to know they're made in the US, and so far working great!

We donโt have a pet.
The lids are to big for our smallest cans. But I found a few items that the lids will fit. The price is right.
