4" Round Open Screen Vent - Mill - Pkg of 4

I’m adding ventilation to plywood soffit on my 70’s home that had none. A 4” hole saw (drill) works perfect and thread snap in easy, but snug in place. I bought over 100 of these between the 4” and the 6” and have only had two of the screens separated in the 6, I just fixed them myself, not a huge deal.

The quality is great for what it is. All smooth and the mesh-net fitted perfectly. My issue with it is that the local ground squirrels are successful in tearing up the mesh-net. As a result, I ended up ordering the 1/4 inch grid version of the same manufacturer. That one has a strong grid, which is hopefully squirrel proof.

Work as they should. These should keep those pesky bugs out !

Cheaply made, The screens were torn away from the edges of the aluminum ring on 2 of the 4 that I ordered. Dont buy these if your looking for a quality screen.

The screen mesh could be heavier gauge

I used to cap my 4 inch agricultural drain pipes. The screens help keep bugs and animals from building nexts in my downspouts

perfect for slipping into a 4" hole. Three evenly spaced nubs in metal ring help hold the devise in place. Perfect for venting anything with 3" or 4 " dia hose

I used one on each of our bathroom exhaust fan ducts. I vented them to the soffit. They look great and they fit the 4 inch duct perfectly and fit snugly in the port hole I had cut in the soffit. I still have two left over which will be used elsewhere.
