Solid Dummy Load โ Worked Great for Testing My FT-891
I purchased this BECEN 100W N-Male Connector Dummy Load to do some testing with my Yaesu FT-891, and it worked exactly as expected. Yes, the FT-891 puts out up to 100W and this dummy load is rated for 100W, so itโs right on the edgeโbut for short-duration testing and tuning, it handled it just fine with no issues. This is actually the second BECEN dummy load Iโve purchased, and both have performed reliably. The build quality is solid, the connector fit is snug, and it operates cleanly across the stated frequency range (DC to 3 GHz). It arrived quickly, which was great since I needed it to complete some antenna and signal path tests. Eventually, Iโll likely invest in or build a higher-capacity dummy load for extended transmit sessions, but for now, this one does exactly what I need it to do. A Well-Made Dummy Load
I purchased two of these dummy loads for use in my Amateur (Ham) Radio hobby. These are well constructed, heavy, and the connectors are a precision fit. I would certainly recommend them to anyone with a need for dummy loads for radio testing and evaluation.
