A decent green tea with very tame flavor = mild recommendation
The Spring New China etc. is a decent tea, and probably merits more than three stars. It's fresh, it brews well in about 4 1/2 minutes, and it's smooth and pleasant. My criticism is totally subjective--I prefer a fuller, stronger green tea, and I can't find the balance between under- and over-brewed on this one. I've tried various temps, times, and dilutions, but I either get a tea that is too mild, or too bitter. If you like a less obtrusive flavor, a tea that you can sip and ignore at the same time, here's your winner. I ordered the Tie Guan Yin Oolong Tea - Iron Goddess of Mercy (WuLong) Loose Tea - 5.3 Oz from Amazon a few months ago, and it's long gone--it had all the lovely oomph of oolong, with no bitterness or flatness. Now there's a green tea...I just wish it came in a bigger bag, and was thus a bit cheaper. I'm going back to it next time.

It tasted pretty bad, nothing like what I had before. I even asked several of my friends try it. None of them like it.

I love this Tie Guan tea
I love this Tie Guan tea. Very flavorful, never bitter and the leaves unfurl full size so they never interfere with your sipping. I am so glad I found this bulk bag. This tea is so prized that it is usually packed in one cup foil bags in gift tins at $$$$, even in China. Now I can enjoy it every day

Taste is good. I mix it with the black tea and South African rooibos tea, squeezing fresh lemon into the cup and honey. No sugar. Sugar will spoil the taste. You can't have enough of my special ingredients to suffice your taste. It turns out an extremely tasty tea.
