Musical Instruments of the Southern Appalachian Mountains
S**.
This is a history book, not a howgo build book.
This is a history book about traditional home made music pal instruments made by people in rural Appalachia. It’s a good one if you are interested in this topic. The book covers banjos, fiddles, mouth bows and mountain dulcimers that belong to a museum in Norris, Tennessee. The author Aldo interviews the makers of the instruments, if they are still alive, which is a delight. They’re mountain people, and very clever about maki g something from nothing. It’s a nice read, well illustrated and reasonably priced too. Great if you are interested in this topic.

Great for a Musical Instrument lover or History freak!
More, more I want more! I could peruse this type of book endlessly, both for the instruments and the history. Fun to have on the coffee table!

Nice little survey
Certainly not an in depth tome, But doesn't claim to be either. Great coffee table [or bathroom] book for the price and came quickly.
