Mind boggling. The first time I saw the movie decades ago, that's what I felt. After seeing the latest version of the movie - Road Fury - I was expecting to be a little underwhelmed, but was wrong. This movie stands on its own. Simply a pleasure to watch.Note for Indian viewers: There are two brief sexual scenes, one being a brutal rape scene, all uncut, so think before letting children watch this movie.George Miller is one of my favorite directors, with many of his movies in the top 100 movies I have watched. Babe- Pig in the City is another one of my favorites, Another Babe movie and Happy Feet 1 and 2 are fun movies especially for children, Twilight Zone is another one of his good movie.

Mad max 2 is one of the most recognised and respected action movies of all time. It has all the goods and delivers them well and with perfect timing.Speaking of the blu ray- excellent video quality and 5.1 dts MA makes it an all round perfect cinema experience.Only thing that bothers me is that not a lot of special features are included in this blu ray.

The 16:9picture quality's tip top and apparently it's uncut,massive thank you's to the reviewer(s) whohave kindly pointed this out. One of my favouritetypes of movie, 'the post apocalyptic fallout'. Thisand Raiders of Atlantis (badly want an Englishlanguage official release) are by far the best examples.The whole film is a 'stand out moment,' the gyro captaineating dog food, then dabbing his mouth showsa tiny bit of dignity remains. Also the compound mechanicwho shouts "OK". Very funny. You've also got thegorgeous Virginia Hey in it. Not disappointed. Good quality-great movie.

J'ai trouvé dans un bac DVD de supermarché le 1 et le 3 pour un prix dérisoire par rapport à la qualité ces films.J'ai trouvé ici le film 2 pour une bouchée de pain et je peux enfin visionner toute la saga d'une traite jusqu'à Fury Road.Comme on pourrait le lire sur Facebook :Si tu kiffes MAD MAX t'es un ancien !

All good. New, proper DVD quality. I love Mad Max and hadn't seen this one in years. Great classic film.

This is the most perfect movie ever made. I'm not calling it the best, I am calling it perfect, from a movie making or story telling point of view. When I was a kid, the grade eight English teacher would haul out the old 16 mm projector and run the movie "Shane" for the class to illustrate the narrative arc of a story or novel. Well, The Road Warrior wouldn't be allowed in a grade eight classroom, but that kind of clean, sweet, streamlined storytelling is what I mean when I call it perfect. I could restate what I'm sure has been spoken of already in many reviews, that it was groundbreaking, that it has informed movie making for thirty five years, that all those stunts were REAL - but I will leave that to others and just say that the little movie from Australia was the most perfect movie of the twentieth century.
