Outstanding condition
The book arrived on time and in a condition better than described. Listed and priced as used, the book binding was not even "broken", no marks inside the book, and no wear or worn look about it. Couldn't be more thankful!

Sppiritual classic
I first rad this 30 years ago, and it still offers its insight and challenge to readers of today. Like "Pilgrim's Progress" a classic.

Wonderful parables
This book is full of insightful parables that are presented in a very interesting story. I have read it several times and this copy is to replace one I gave away. If you want to reflect on meaningful ideas, this is a great book.

Great Book, Great Writer, Great Experience
This is a great book IMHO. Edward Hays is able to put more advanced concepts into simple stories and understandable words. Even though I have training in this area, I find this book to be quite enjoyable, very entertaining and encouraging. Hays is creative -- each book of his is quite different than the others.I highly recommend Edward Hays and his books.

Parables that Appeal to Everyone!
Edward Hays is a tremendously gifted writer and a thought-provoking theologian. His parables are truly amusing, but at the same time offer the reader much to think about. Hays has the rare ability to write for many levels. This book was recommended to me by a member of the clergy, but I have shared several stories with young teenagers who are just beginning to grapple with their own spirituality.Reading this book was a personally rewarding experience. The best part is that when I pick it up again in a year or two, I will have completely new insights. It is a book about a spiritual journey that meets you where you are on your own spiritual journey.I also recommend the sequel "The Magic Lantern" and "The Ethiopian Tattoo Shop".

Pick your truth
St George and the dragons met my expectationsz considering who recommended it to me. Its philosophy is universalist in answer to Pilate's famous question, "What is truth?". In several points the philosophy violates the Law of Non-contradiction. But there some some premises what resonated with me.
