My 5 year old loves how soft these are. They are VERY thin (like underwear.) They work well under a dress but only two of the colors really hide my daughter’s patterned panties. The other colors are just so thin that you can see Elsa and Anna poking through.

If you want thick coverage shorts these are not for you. However, are PERFECT for my 3 year old. She wears these under her dresses and at her age, not too worried if her underwear shows through a bit, but the dress covers too. The material is easy for her to pull up and down on her own when she uses the bathroom, unlike other shorts that are too stiff for her to maneuver on her own. The material is also super soft and flexible, and also make great summer sleep shorts. Bought more as they work for us.

These shorts fit well but the material is very thin and see through. I purchased them for under dresses and skirts so im not to concerned about them being so thin because you don't typically see them. They are pretty loose fitting on my 4.5 year old so she will be able to wear them for awhile as long as the thin material doesn't wear out to fast. I've had these for over a month and have washed several times, they have some pilling but are still very soft and stretchy. If your looking for shorts for gymnastics or regular wear (not hidden under skirts?) I would not recommend these.

I bought these as undershorts for my 10 and 8 year olds. They're slender and not always careful with how they move when wearing skirts. These shorts help prevent them from flashing their knickers to everyone when they aren't being careful. I wouldn't buy them to be used on their own as they are very form fitting, thin and a little see through, but they are perfect for use as undershorts.

These are very soft, stretchy and relatively light-weight. My daughter tends to prefer shorts like this to traditional underwear/panties because they don’t ride up or bunch or irritate her due to thick seams. But - If you’re looking for a undershorts or dance shorts that are medium to heavy weight with structure (ie, thicker, close-fitting leotard or bicycle style shorts), these might not be the best choice. These are more breathable, light, long-underwear (IMO). Perfect for our needs.

Completely see through and like I ordered the size that should have fit my 10 year old daughter and we laughed opening it... the could maybe fit a baby doll? So I told her try a pair on and oh yea they stretch but I could see the flowers on her panties like really... not worth the deal.

Little 5 yr old likes to always wear dresses (daycare and camp), so especially during summer, these very thin lightweight shorts are perfect under dresses and provide modesty coverage as she plays in her dresses with the boys and girls on playground and floor activities in classroom.

These don’t look like the photo. They are extremely thin and look more like pj bottoms. And a bit grown up looking for little kids.
