Used these for some under-cabinet task lighting in the kitchen, and installed with 5630 warm white led strips, a dimmable NON-PWM driver (search "HitLights Driver"), and a home depot dimmer switch that works with LEDs. I planned out my install, cut the rails and lenses to the right sizes, hardwired the dimmer in the wall and drivers under the cabinets, adhered the pre-wired strips to the rails, connected them to power, bench-tested the entire assembly, and finally clicked everything into place. The final installation came out better than I expected, and the diffuser lenses are great. When the lights are at full brightness, I don't see the individual LEDs in the reflection of my quartz countertop or my appliances and containers that are sitting there. It looks like a clean and even bar of light, getting rid of all the shadows that the ceiling fixtures couldn't illuminate. A few tips come to mind that will hopefully make your project go smoothly: 1] PLAN, PLAN, PLAN before you start, and reassess if you need to for tricky spots like turns, and passing through sections of cabinets. Get a good idea of how to make what you envisioned into a reality, and get creative with solutions to unforeseen challenges. 2] The screws provided that are for the mounting clips are very small, and very brittle. If you're going to install them into a hard wood (such as quality cabinets), I highly recommend pre-drilling the holes to a size only 1/64th of an inch smaller than the screw, soap the threads (rub them on a solid bar of soap to lubricate the threads of the screw and facilitate insertion), and do not use a power tool to sink them. I got advice from a buddy who bought the same set before me that having an extra pack of hardware would help, so I bought another bag of hardware, and I found that it was worth every penny. 3] The diffusers and rails can be cut to size fairly easily, but take your time! I rushed with the hacksaw on one of the rails, and when it was time to install the diffuser lens, I couldn't get it to snap into place. After inspecting the rail, I noticed that the diffuser guides were chewed up from sawing too quickly, so I used the tip of a flat screwdriver to open them back up. Do it right the first time, or you'll be doing it again. Good luck!

The quality seemed good, they were straight and the covers fit in nicely. The mounts are nice and seemed secure and easy to attach. I had two concerns though. I wanted to hide the wiring so I drilled a hole on the back of the aluminum channel and ran 22 ga 4 wire ribbon through it. The wire barely fit and I would think that this size would be typical of LED wiring. Since the wiring came from behind the end cap won't fit on. There is a triangular piece that goes in to the channel the wiring is running through. I imagine I can modify it to make the cap work, but I haven't had a chance to do that yet. There is a hole in half of the end caps, presumably for the wiring to go through. I think the hole would have been a little small for the ribbon cable too, but would probably work if the ribbon was folded in half. Over all it seems to be a good product and I would recommend it to others.

I'm actually not a pro, but I can give you some tips: 1) Order an extra pack of the mounting brackets. These come with 2 per length, and a few of mine I mounted with 3... since they're 3' long. Also, you can cut the aluminum channels real easy with a saw... so if you're doing some length customzing (like cutting one in half to make a corner) you'll want a few extra. So it's worth it to just order the extra brackets. I think another 20 mounts was like $9 2) The diffusers are a bit of a trick to snap in, and it takes some strong fingers... but you'll get the hang of it. I basically set one side, and then just kind of squish and pull the other side away from the channel it sets in... and it sort of snaps in. If you try to squish it inward towards the channel, it's really hard to flex. So it seems weird, but try to pull the second side straight out from the channel with your finger tips, and it works pretty good. Tricky though. That whole sliding thumb along the side shit they show in the picture doesn't seem to work at all. 3) The end caps with the hole in it are worthless. None of the LED connectors fit through the hole, the wire does... but nothing else. So you have to cut a side out or something and slide the wires through works if you need to. I mostly didn't use the caps. Overall, they are pretty nice and work great. Just a couple tricks to mounting. Get more mounts. :)

I would discount a star for the weak diffusion effect, but considering the low price, it is hard to complain too much. The channels I received were perfectly straight. No defects found on either the channels nor the diffusers. I ended up fitting two strips in the channels. They are offset, so the gaps between the leds are effectively half as wide, but their angles are different, so the strips have a kind of odd dappled look. The clips fit perfectly, but I went with removable command adhesive strips. The diffusers went in super easy. Just hook one edge and then push against the diffuser enough for it to flex. Then just held it lined up while I slid my finger or thumb along the edge while gently pushing towards the side it was hooked in. I am using Govee strips. The brightness and led density is acceptable, but not what I envisioned.

I used these rails with some COB led light strips and was very pleased with this product. In fact, this was a lifesaver because the led strip I used had no adhesive backing and was very resistant to any glue or adhesive, so the diffuser cover on these rails helps keep the strip in place. Installation was pretty easy and straight forward. You just screw in the clips along the surface and snap in the aluminum rails. I cut mine to length very easily with a regular old fine cut hacksaw. The only difficult part was snapping in the diffuser shield you'll need some tough thumbs and thick fingernails but once you get the edge in the bead you can sort of push along the length and it will guide itself into place. If this was an LED strip installation in a recessed area that wasn't front facing, I would suggest just using zip ties or screw in loops that don't necessarily look nice but get the job done. But for front facing applications where you can't hide anything, this is a fantastic solution for a nice looking LED strip installation.

They're cheap and flimsy, which could be good or bad depending on application. They're easy to cut, can be bent (again, good or bad), and not heavy. The diffusers often have runs or streaks in them, but most are fine. They include just enough clips and screws, so it's like they're mocking everyone who loses a screw. Except the screws are so cheap, they're easy to strip or bend. Or if you cut a piece of track in 2, you will be short on clips. It's ridiculous that they don't put in just ONE extra. (They do sell clips separately.) So, as usual with Amazon... "5 stars! Just as good as all the rest of the crap!" (Except I give 3 stars for typical crap.)

Great channels, great diffuser! Here's some tips to install this product to make it easier: -Buy additional clips of you plan on using them outside or cutting them. They really should have added more from the factory. -Instead of using the provided clips, you can use Command Strips for interior use, and heavy duty double-sided tape for outside mounting. I found this worked easier for longer runs where you have to align two strips together. Just put the tape behind where the two parts meet. -When cutting, use a dremel with a large cutting dial for best results. Cut the plastic diffuser to length using some scissors. -Alternate the different lengths of diffuser to overlap the points where the metal strips meet. Example: If you run three full strips, and cut the fourth in half, put the cut diffuser on the full strip, then put the full diffusers on. It makes for a cleaner look.

Vorweg: Habe schon ein anderes System verbaut. Wesentlich teurer, Zubehör musste einzeln bestellt werden und es hat mich Nerven gekostet. Hier bekomme ich für schmales Geld ein super Produkt welches auch noch einfach zu befestigen ist. Zu jeder Leiste werden zwei Halterungen und Schrauben geliefert. Ich habe die erste Halterung ca. 3 cm vom Anfang her unter der Decke (Panele) angeschraubt. Wer eine Schattenfuge machen möchte: TIP. Zollstock mit der Breiten Seite an die Wand drücken, Halterung an den Zollstock legen, ein wenig festschrauben, Zollstock weg, endgültig festschrauben. Dann habe ich mir die Leiste angelegt und das Ende markiert. Hier zweite Halterung anbringen. Damit kann man die erste Leiste und die nächste Leiste jeweils zur Hälfte einclipsen. Dann in ungefäger Mitte der ersten Leiste weiteren Besfestigungsclip anbringen. Für 3 Leisten benötigt man also einen Clip mehr als vorgesehen. LED Stripes eingeklebt. Die Abdeckleiste ist ein wenig Tricky. an beliebigem Punkt oben in die Führung einsetzen und mit dem Daumen mit etwas erhöhtem Druck and der unteren Seite der Leiste herstreifen. Es entsteht ein knarrendes Geräusch. Blende ist drin.

Good quality for the money spent. The white diffuser works as expected, note that you need a certain maximum amount of distance between the leds for it to look good. To wide of a gap and the individual leds will still show.

Took a little time to arrive to my place and one of the bars was dented. I could fix it without a problem but wonder how that could have happened because it was very well wrapped. The bars came into a very strong cylindrical cardboard tube so I guess the dent happened in the packing probably. The bars are very light and easy to cut in the desired size. I painted mine in matte black and they are just beautiful under the kitchen shelves.

Bought these to put LED light strips up in a bedroom. Seemed a neat solution. Once they were up they looked great. However, they aren’t the easiest to put up! I used and angle grinder to cut the channels for the corners of the room and a bench grinder to smooth the cut edge. This saved a lot of time over using a hacksaw which I found difficult due to the shape of the channel. Used a hacksaw to cut the plastic cover no problem. The issue came with putting the plastic cover on the channel. Bend it in at one end to get it started and then run your finger along to click it in place. Ended up with cuts on my fingers after a while due to the thin nature of the aluminium.
