I have bought literally dozens of these socks over the last 8 or so years for myself and for friends and relatives, from the company site, my local pharmacy and from Amazon. They are extremely comfortable, soft and of course, made of sustainable bamboo yarns. But there is a terrible problem which has become so bad that sadly I have to write and warn people off these socks—within months or at the most a year, you’ll be throwing them away because of large holes, especially in the heels but sometimes in the toes as well. I can’t tell you how many I have thrown away in the last month—around ten. I wrote a friendly critical review last year on the company website hoping someone would take heed and correct the problem. No such luck. I was surprised that the socks I bought this year had an even looser weave than the previous ones and, predictably, are wearing out sooner. It’s such a great concept and there’s such a need for them but the quality control piece is absolutely a deal breaker. Unless you want to replace your sock drawer once a year.

Update: while I like the relaxed elastic around the ankle, that elastic is losing its elasticity on some socks even with limited or occasional wear.I have purchased these socks and, in general, like them. I do wonder if the elastic in the ankle will retain its elasticity over time or not but they are still too new to tell.One aspect that is a disappointment -- as new as these socks are to me, one sock already has a hole in the toe. Hope that trend doesn't continue or I'll be very disappointed considering the price I paidl

The socks are comfortable, soft and mostly keep your feet dry, but they break easy in a washer or dryer. It’s been a year since I’ve been using them. They broke all of 5 pairs that I brought while I have a fruit of the loom pairs that I’ve been with for more than 20 years and don’t have even a tiny hole or wear signs.

I use these socks for my husband who has very sensitive skin and dementia, so he needs my help to get socks on. These are the best, I can actually get them on him without hurting my back struggling to get them on. They go on easy and they stay up! They are the best!!!

This is my 3rd order of these bamboo socks. Bought a couple of pair a month before a trip to New Zealand, to get a feel for them. They were cushy and comfortable, so I bought some more and, except for some compression socks for wear on the plane, they were the only socks I wore three weeks. Loved 'em! Got back with five pair and they became my go-to socks. but the five pair gradually dwindled to two pair. Maybe the dryer was eating them; or maybe they wound up in my wife's sock drawer. She says no. At any rate, I'm now headed to Poland so I stocked up again.

I have a long-standing foot injury, and frequent swelling. These are the best socks ever! They are the softest socks I own. They are not constrictive, and is very comfortable on my bad foot. The bamboo takes extra drying time compared to 100% cotton socks.

First time user and I like them. Very comfortable and I like the padded bottom. They seem that they will wear well and not stretch out like so many socks. I plan to order more.

The socks are excellent. We prefer the crew socks, so I returned these and promptly received a replacement. The socks are excellent -- provide extra comfort to diabetic feet because they have an added foot pad at the sole. they are warm, but not sweaty, in cold weather. They fit closely to the ankle and calf. Wonderful.
