My old pump is a 2500psi, notice this pump is 3500psi, does that matter? i have a model dc 4393, serial # cbb-1208-033

The relief valve on our pump is set to 3200 PSI. Standard PSI on cylinders is 3000 PSI, I believe. Our pump should work fine for you.

Will this pump hold pressure in any position, I want to use it for a boat hoist?

Yes, It will hold until the directional button on the remote is pushed.

I need to run 2 different sets of cylinders will this unit work?
