Value Buy: Good price. Good quality. Easy to use.
I bought this microphone and a third-party AI-powered meeting transcription software. Took it to a 6-person meeting, not knowing how well it would work in the real world. I'm thrilled with performance overall. Audio quality was loud and clear, an essential for good transcriptions. We were in an enclosed conference room with just a moderate amount of noise from time to time. No issues at all. This is a fairly compact unit, making it easy to pack in my travel bag. Setup and installation is easy: Plug it in and select the external microphone in my transcription software. No driver or microphone software installation required. No batteries or external power brick required, as the mic gets power via the laptop connector. I do have a complaint about the cable. Although the cable seems high quality, it is permanently attached to the microphone. As a result, if that strain relief (where the cable attaches to the microphone) ever goes bad, the entire microphone must be replaced. Furthermore, the cable has a USB-A connector. It's true: some laptops still have USB-A connections, but many newer laptops (including ALL MacBook Pros) have only USB-C connections. USB-A is being phased out for many devices. It's easy to carry a USB-A to USB-C adapter, but those adapters are also easy to use. At some point, the company should consider switching to the current USB-C standard, which would still make it possible for those with USB-A laptops to use an adapter.

Now that the world is on Zoom, this little gadget is a LIFESAVER!
So for whatever reason, the microphone in my laptop stopped working well. Everyone one video calls would complain that I sounded quiet and far away, or that they couldn't hear me at all even though I was unmuted and everything. This happened on Facebook, Google Meets/Hangouts, Zoom, didn't matter what platform it was. It drove me CRAZY, so I started using earbuds with an external microphone, but that's no good for when my partner and I want to call someone together. Enter, this external mic. I now use it even when I'm on a video call alone because the sound quality is better than the inline mic on my earbuds. It's wonderful to just be able to talk normally, not shout or struggle or have to type out what I want to say because no one can hear me. I don't mean to be melodramatic, but this item has improved my quality of life since the pandemic. Video calls suck, but they suck a lot less when people can actually hear you. I don't get complaints about my sound quality or volume anymore and I can just speak naturally on video calls. This works with my Dell computer that runs Windows 10 as simple plug-and-play, as advertised. I didn't have to download anything or do any setup at all, just push the button on the device so that it glows blue and if necessary make sure the video platform has the device selected as audio input. I'd highly recommend this as an easy to use and good quality solution for video calls, especially if you have one or more people sitting with you in the room and you want everyone to be heard clearly. We haven't really tested the limits of the range, but it works great if my partner and I are sitting around the kitchen table or on the couch together; the people on the other end can hear both of us just fine. This is quite possibly the best $40 I've spent this year.

Solid Product w/ One Limitation
I like it overall -- the sound quality is good, it looks nice, and it feels solidly built. Iโm giving it four stars because itโs not Microsoft-certified. That means when you press the mute button on the microphone, the mute status in Microsoft Teams doesnโt change, so you still have to unmute yourself in Teams using the mouse or a keyboard shortcut. Aside from that limitation, Iโve had no issues with it.

Impressive Performance at a Modest Price โ Perfect for Office Video Conferences
I purchased the TONOR Conference USB Microphone (G11) for use in our office meeting room, primarily for video conferencing, and itโs exceeded expectationsโespecially considering the price point. The plug-and-play setup is seamless with both Mac and Windows systems, and the omnidirectional pickup captures voices clearly from all directions, making it ideal for group meetings. Audio quality is crisp and professional, with no noticeable lag or distortion. Build quality feels solid and minimal, and it takes up very little space on the tableโexactly what you want in a conference setup. For teams looking for a reliable, affordable, and high-performing conference mic, this is an excellent solution. Great value and very satisfied.

Works with Dragon One
I needed a Hands Free microphone for Voice Recognition with Dragon One transcription software. I decided to take a chance with this device. I have previously used a wired Headset device and also the expensive "Phillips Speech Mike Premium", but the wire getting stuck here and there is a pain to put up with. On initial use of this Tonor Conference mike -- Dragon One software gave me a warning that this microphone device is not ideal for such use. I ignored the warning and continue to use it, now in its 5th months, very successfully. I must acknowledge that I work in my office with the door closed, so that other voices in the office do not interfere. By trial and error I have found that a distance of 16 to 20 inches from my mouth is ideal. The device rests, closer to the edge of the desk near me. I speak in a volume like that of speaking to another person, and not in a whisper. The number of errors is equal or better that a hand held speech mike or a head phone mike. What I liked about this device includes: No software was needed - Windows 11 recognized it. Its heft and weight is good so it doesn't get to slide around on the desk - sits firmly in place It has a nice blue light when it is "ON" -- so you know that you are live To turn the mike off, It has a "soft touch only" control button that turns the mike off. I use the "+" button on my keyboard to "pause" and "unpause" the operation of the transcription software My hands are free, I can look up and down and to the LEFT and RIGHT to access papers and files on my desk and continue speaking - without affecting speech recognition. I found the mike useful for my particular need and very happy with it.

Good product!
Works surprisingly well for the size and price. Itโs a good option for zoom calls if you donโt want to have a microphone in front of your face. Putting it down on the desk in front of you is a good range. And easy to set up

Great for Work Meetings
Very solid product. I use it for work meetings and the sound is nice and clear. I like the fact that it isnโt distracting in the same way a plug and play traditional microphone could be.
