1001 Words For Success (Quick Study Academic)

I like this item. I ordered several different subjects. Great for middle school!

A lot of great words but it’s very disappointing there is no breakdown or help with pronunciation.

I consider myself a reader. Most readers have a decent vocabulary. So I basically got this chart to humble myself. It had words that were NOT in my vocab so I learned somethings.

If you are older, you may need reading glasses but it delivers

The words listed herein, most all of which I know or am at least familiar with, are not a part of most people's active vocabulary; including my own. I have tried various paperback vocabulary books, the kind that are quite portable, but find myself fanning the pages instead of being able to quickly snatching a word and using it. The 1001 Words for Success may help me do just that and, by finding the word quickly, perhaps it will find its way into my active vocabulary; I don't know yet. If not, then I may have to try something completely different. Wish me luck.

Vocabulary goes hand-in-hand with reading skills. Use this for homeschooling. Learning how to pronounce, understand, and spell these basic words. Very handy.

I have a binder of these quick-study guides and find them very helpful. I may not use it everyday, but when I need it, I have it.
