Cleveland Golf Women's Smart Sole 3.0 Wedge, Right Hand

I took a chance and purchased this wedge for my wife to possibly help with consistency around the green. She’s a good player but prefers not to adjust her grip and stance to help shape her green side shots. My Vokey wedges and others she tried felt heavy and awkward when compared to her iron set’s SW which lacked the necessary loft for some situations. Short shots over or out of deep bunkers were affecting her scores and enjoyment so I tossed this Cleveland wedge in her bag one day. She committed to testing it for a few weeks and now absolutely swears by it. I can say with certainty that we’re both quite happy with this purchase

Immediately helped her short game as she didn't have a SW. She always saw how I hit my Cleveland and got this for her for Mother's Day. She is relatively new to golf and doesn't play a lot but last night we went out and hit balls out of a trap and around the green with her new wedge...huge improvement.

I am a high handicap golfer. I am not having any problems getting out of sandtraps. Great club for any handicap.

The club is well balanced and gets me out of the sand easily. Love it.

Unable to get this model in the UK so purchased from US. Arrived in one week despite estimating 2 week’s. Received the woman’s shorter version, but with a little more bent knees than normal (I’m 5.10) it feels fine and if anything gives more control. Tried it for a couple of hours on the driving range and could not make a bad shot with it even when I tried to find out its limits! Works off front foot, mid stance and rear foot. Not yet tried it in a bunker but the 58 degree version is designed for that whilst this C (chipper version) is 42 degrees and seems great for anything from 5 - 90 yards off the green. Expensive but does the job. Now I need a putter that’s as easy to usesuccessfully!PS Now tried it on the course and I found that it can go wrong, (me really). The mats in the driving range meant it was impossible to hit badly. However it is still an excellent club and a bit heavier in the head than anything I had used before so takes a bit of practice to get the right length. I will continue to use my old lighter chipper for close (1-5 yards) to green shots where there is little green to play with.
