So to get round that I put small screws in each corner of the window frame and attached the hook to that perfect. Hope this helps you. **Q: It says easy to cut, that's not true. What can I cut this with?** A: It would be easy to cut if you have a good pair of sharp wire cutters. I persevered with kitchen scissors. It was hardwork but did eventually cut the wire. **Q: What is the thickness / width of the cable, not length?** A: Approximately 5mm **Q: I havnt received any hooks or eyes?** A: Well you should have.... this is and error. return it and speak with Amazon live chat!
