The printed instructions on the box state that "contact lenses should be removed" before using the product. So, all you contact lens wearers beware that this product may not be what you expected. Even so, it is comfortable to use (even with gas perm lenses). Only three stars due to the error of omission on the product description.

This is described as equal to the other brand mentioned on the box. I have both, having decided to try them to see how my dry eyes responded. My dry eyes aren't chronic...just frequent enough that I did need artificial tears. The more expensive brand makes my eyes feel better. I don't know HOW different the chemical make-up is between the two, but--at least for me--my eyes just respond to the other one better. I keep a bottle of this in my bag, though--only because I did order the small bottles of this brand to compare the two. I just didn't want to throw the product away nor was my dissatisfaction with it so acute that a return was warranted.

These keep my eyes lubricated and are very reasonably priced. I don't have any serious eye problems and My MD doesn't specify what kind of drops I should use. These are provided by the VA for someone I know so I thought they were worth a try.
