King George III (A Wicked History)

If you're looking for something truthful and not dull, this is it. Written for a younger audience, it tells you all of the important facts about George III and the American Revolution without being completely bombarded with every single minute detail. It will tell you what he and Adams discussed after the War, but not what he ate for breakfast that morning. Really great, light read. Easy for kids to understand.

As a 5th Grade teacher, I like anything that makes history easier to understand while presenting it in a fun and lively way. These books fit the bill, although I find them more useful for myself. In other words, this series might be too hard for most 10 year olds, but helps their busy teacher decide what they should be taught.

This was a present for my grand daughter. I read this before I gave it to her. I enjoyed it . Informative.

Great book, simply written account for a complicated historical time.
