Use the right tools, use for the right purpose, get the right result
I have some small sets of shelves I need to go up for some smaller bits around the flat as well as a lightweight electronic dartboard. All I have are plasterboard walls so thought I would try these despite the negative reviews.Absolutely perfect for my needs. As my title says, if you use the right tools and your using these for the right purpose, you should be fine.Used a perfectly sized philips head screwdriver to get the white plastic screws into the wall, no rounding off at all. Then used the provided screws and I could not be happier. This brand make a much more heavy duty plasterboard fixing which would use a larger screw which may or may not be what you need as opposed to this.

If you have trouble with plasterboard fixings buy these
I brought them because I reached the end of my tether trying to get fixings into 10mm plasterboard that had "rawlplugs" as a fixing that kept coming down when our window blinds were raised or lowered - the reviews that state they round off is correct - if this happens just open the hole up slightly and then drive in a new one.I did the same, the first one I put in went in without an issue as the hole was huge in comparrision to the rawlplug - I screwed it in and the blind has been solid ever since - I repaired the previous homeowners rawlplug attempt back in 2011 and have been bodging it up everytime it worked its way loose - as soon as I put the gripit in it was solid and hasnt moved at all and the blind is now flush to the ceiling.Buy them, be prepard to lose one or two and when they round off, take them out and make the hole slightly bigger and use a new one - you wont be dissapointed

Screws that that come with these are useless - heads are so small they will not hold anything to the wall. Useless.
The plastic plugs are great but the screws that you are supposed to use are absolutely useless - the heads are so small they go through whatever you are screwing to the wall. I had to hunt around for some others that would fit - was a complete pain.Gripit - get some proper screws please!! Will never buy these again.

Avoid Avoid Avoid
Total rubbish. Potential buyers should steer clear. Buy the metal ones. These are rubbish and don't go in to the wall probably and crumble the plaster because the plastic doesn't cut in to the plaster the enable the screw to go in. Strongly do not recommend.

These do fall out.
I had to install a fiddly product and found that due to readjustment of the shelf being fixed these failed to grip. Ended up using rigfix (overkill) and drilling into the back wall to create the hold needed, even though the item being fixed was well within weight limits. Gripit Fixings would have worked but unfortunately due to their larger diameter would show. I would only use Gripit Twistit for very lightweight items in the future.

Nice idea, but a “no” from me
Out of the 10 in the packet, only 5 made it into the wall! 4 simply tore apart when being screwed in and 1 didn’t stay ‘locked’ long enough to be anywhere near flush. A nice idea, but I’ll be going back to the more effective and cheaper metal type. It remains to be seen if they can hold the weight. Fingers crossed

They don't work. Metal ones are better
When screwing these into our plasterboard and kingspan, we found the inner plastic mashed up before we could screw it totally into place. Decent screwdriver and a cross head type used but we could get it only part way in. The resistance of screwing into place was too great. Metal ones are better.

Utterly useless
Not anywhere as good as the metal ones. Bloody temperamental and screws can easily be called nails. More than 50% turned out to be useless. Please avoid.
