These bags are great for large outdoor trash cans.

The bags were quite sturdy and held up to the corners of furniture and all kinds of odd belongings. They’re gigantic. I was able to fit an entire coffee table in one (although I couldn’t tie it, I could easily tape it closed.) A guitar case fit in one with extra bag to tie off.We used these to get an air tight seal around our belongings during a move. We were getting away from a bad apartment in a building with a pre-existing pest problem which the landlord couldn’t seem to get under control, and we were determined not to take any little bugs with us. I’ve never seen a bug problem before, and it was nightmare. We sealed these bags air tight around furniture and other items, double bagged, removed all our sealed stuff from that building, and kept everything sealed long enough that no bugs or eggs could survive that time without food or water. It was a stressful endeavor, but these bags gave us peace of mind because they were so thick, we could tell air wasn’t escaping, and they fit everything we needed them to. That was 9 months ago and we don’t seem to have any pests now, so I guess it worked! We didn’t know how many bags we’d need when we bought them, and this was way more than enough for our one bedroom apartment (with more belongings than should really fit in a one-bed.) We have a bunch left and I don’t know how we’ll use them, but they seem worth holding on to for now. I would recommend these for anyone who could use industrial strength bags.

We use these to line our outdoor trash can (after we thoroughly scrubbed it clean and disinfected it). The flies that used to swarm around it are long gone. We've used these for about a year now and won't go without them now.

I liked the durability of the recycle bags. And they fit in the 80 gallon cans.

The bags work well in my rolling trash can and make things much neater. However, only a "4" rating because they come folded in a big pile which makes it a production to get a bag each week. I would have preferred that the bags came in a roll, which would have made accessing them much easier.

I took one star off for the price. These are not cheap. I however love the fact that my trash bin doesn't have leaky gunk in the bottom of it and that is priceless. If you can afford to pick these up I would recommend it. They seem thin but they are durable. I haven't had any problems with tears. My trash is only picked up once a week so a little more than a dollar a week isn't too bad to protect your trash bin from scary goop and bugs at the bottom of the bin.

I don't know why we naturally assume that clear trash bags cannot be very strong, but I'm telling you, that assumption is dead wrong. These bags fit my city-issued trash cans perfectly, have never had a major fail (even after impaling them with rose bush branches (the puncture did not spread!), they seal-up nice and tight, which is great. Baltimore City has a major rat problem that is so bad that my neighbors city-issued trash cans have 4-inch holes knawed right through the can by rats who can smell their trash (because they use lame trash bags), but not mine! Cuz, these bags keep what's in them from getting out!

Not terribly thick but perfect for our cans and plastics, they are huge!

Bigger sized bag then i thought. I wanted to buy a clear bag that held 500 soda cans. These bags fit closer to 1000 soda cans.
