Yes, I have it installed on a B tank, won't work on a MC Tank.

Will it work with Dimethyl Ether?

I can't say for certain - but guessing the answer is NO. Remember ALL acetylene regulators are designed specifically with left-handed threads, to help avoid confusion between gear designed for O2, Argon, etc.
