I can't give 5 stars for durability, because I've only owned this item for about a week and a validation of its durability would be somewhat premature! I can say however that this item is very well made, fits the iPad like a glove, to the point that removing the device is decidedly challenging (in a good way!). The quality of leather used is very nice and the item is very attractive as a result, having a true premium feel. My last leather iPad cover was an Apple one, which lasted more than 5 years and provided excellent protection for the device, without being overly bulky. Apple no longer make these, unfortunately, hence my purchase of this item.
