I have to admit I was nervous about shooting something into my earlobe, but thought I would give this a try. (I re-pierced my second holes). Glad I did! It was easy to use, the instructions are fairly clear. I would say that you may want to have a friend or family member help if you are at all squeamish. You need to do it quickly with a good deal of pressure behind it or the plastic pieces holding the earring will not dislodge right away. (Found that out the hard way, but ear is fine and healing nicely.) Other than that, I am well pleased with the product. I know that I was very sanitary when doing it, which was my concern about going to a place in the mall to have it done. Rubbing alcohol and Qtips are your friend.Remember to clean them twice a day with alcohol and turn to keep them healing properly.

I bought these to re-pierce the 2nd holes in my ears. I passed out twice just trying to hype myself up. After the medics left, my husband held me down, unwillingly, and ended up piercing the side of my cheek. I passed out again. I woke up with my pillow glued to my cheek from all the dried blood. I watched my cat lick blood from his paws. I am not sure what went on while I was passed out, but the earring had been removed from my cheek and now there is a red hole there. I use the hole to put my straw through to drink. It comes in handy since we have to wear masks now. I’m pretty sure you don’t believe any of this. I wouldn’t if I was you. Seriously - you get 2 piercers and 2 earrings, one for each ear. They work. Just line them up and squeeze firmly. Someone said in another review that the clear plastic part that holds the earring didn’t break apart. I am not sure it is even supposed to do that. I just popped it off after I got the earring in my ear. Simple. Done. It takes less than 10 minutes. Do it!!!

Just wanted a 3rd hole pierced on one earlobe. Oh the money they want at these piercing places, and ask for one hole, oh still pricey and the earrings are ugly or too expensive. This thing was cheap and easy. I did it myself, you barely feel anything. Most physician offices recommend cleaning daily with saltwater, so i mixed myself up some and thats what I used. The earring is cute and comfortable to sleep in. Used it before christmas, my ear completely healed, SO glad I tried this. It does come in a sealed pouch, sterile, one time use.

These are advertised as being sold with 2 studs included. There are no studs. That is the only reason we chose these. The units themselves are also extremely fragile and cheap, which makes me afraid to use them anyway. I am returning immediately. I recommend finding an accurately described item - we are just going to spend the money on a piercer gun that costs 3x the price to assure we get a quick pierce. I should’ve known when the title said “painless”..which is impossible. 🙄

I used to pierce ears in college for my job. Got this kit and pierced my 6 year olds ears tonight. Worked PERFECTLY! Exactly like back in the day. Perfect. Just remember they are safety snap backs. Pinch HARD, or you won’t get the backs on right.

Worked great, we used another brand a couple weeks ago and they worked as well but the backs got stuck in the gun, this brand worked perfectly.

The item was very small (small enough to fit in my hand and close it) I did not notice thatThe item is a disposable gun which is a bummer. I have not yet used the item but for the size (very small) it looks like its going to be quite the hassle to use (previous experience with the regular sized piercing gun).

Gun bent the earing in my one ear and broke. You're better off just doing it either by getting it professionally done, or the old school way of stabbing through your ear yourself. It's less painful than getting an earing bent in your earlobe.
