Aquascape 91045 Ultra Pump Fountain Head Kit for Ultra 400, 550, and 800 Pumps, Small Black

This was easy to install and use. I didn't expect too much when I ordered it because of the price, but it's working great. The output is easily managed.

Kit parts were all as-shown. I was hoping to achieve different results. Fountain designs/configurations may need to accommodate several site issues. For me I wanted as much sound from fountain head style (adjacent road/traffic noise), minimal splashing (water loss), and water flow/pattern stability (wind can blow water away form fountain). There are ~4 inch extensions provided if you need to plumb up away from pump. I needed to keep mine plumbed short, as tight as possible, to keep spray head close to water surface....so plumbing pieces are too long for my situation. I'll need to come up with an alternative design. All parts work fine, as designed, just need to tweak it for my specific conditions.

I wish I could order individual parts. I just wanted the mushroom head but i am glad that I could find it as an assortment for a reasonable price. It works very well.

My pond is 4 feet deep so I need to add some extra extension pieces to get the spray heads out of the water.

I have a Swell 1400 pump which is not a fountain pump but pumps 1700 l/hr. It was running a waterfall but this subsequently started leaking (losing water outside the pond) and I wanted to have a fountain instead (so everything would stay within the pond). I bought this fountain head kit and a 1/2" bsp female x 1/2" bsp female elbow to get the angle for the fountain (the pump I have discharges horizontally not vertically) and it works perfectly!
