Versatile and well built. Makes a HUGE difference in production quality.
Surprised at how great of a job this one light does at properly illuminating my subject on it's own. The dimmer is very responsive, and changing from daylight color temp to a warmer color is FAST. I've used ringlight models with magnets holding the colored filters, but found the magnets start to pop out over time, rendering it useless. Having it one piece that snaps on and off is brilliant. In certain situations, I've been able to leave larger softbox lights at home and only bring this to shoots. I The built-in cold shoe has been amazing when tight on space. Instead of having this ringlight on one light stand and another tripod behind it, I've mounted DSLRs and mirrorless cameras right to this, eliminating the need for another set of sticks. Makes it MUCH faster for set up and breakdown. The LEDs are super bright, and the unit runs very cool to the touch, which is great for long shoots (and for handling the product afterwards!). The carry case has a large zippered compartment inside for holding the AC cables and anything else you might need (gaffers tape, etc).

I'm very impressed and I'll tell you why!
I've had this Light for two days now and I have to say I'm very impressed with it. I absolutely love it. Its travel friendly with the included and very convenient carrying case. There's an extra pouch inside with a zipper incase you need to bring extra gear alongside with you. I basically bought this light for a video podcast and its perfect for what I need it for. I shoot with a DSLR and I'm able to mount it onto the cold shoe that's built it in at the base of the light. I really like that it has a digital number dial on the back of it so I can see what percentage of light I'm casting. The portability of this set was huge selling point for me. All in all, I definitely recommend this light to anyone whos serious about making content for the internet! I hope that helps you.
