Holds weed fabric in place in strong wind and weather. Well made and will last for years. More uses include pinning irrigation hoses and low tunnels in place. Great product! Reusable and worth the money.

These were better than expected staples. Bought them for landscaping fabric staking. 5-7/8” long and about 1” wide. I was surprised by how heavy the box was. I ordered the 200 quantity and the box weighed 9.3 lbs. definitely worth the price.

These landscape staples were better priced than anything I could find in the local and big box hardware stores. They are sturdy and easy to install. That said, they will still bend if you hit a large rock. Don't be afraid of buying a box of 200, I went through them surprisingly fast. If you do bend one, don't throw it away. You can straiten it back out with a hammer or pliers.

These things are way over-priced for what they are, but they're a requirement if you use weed fabric, so what's one to do? Do NOT throw them out when they get rusty because they actually work better - they grip the dirt more. Buy once, cry once.

I've used 6" and even 8" and had them pop out. They also were thinner metal and didn't do so well in hard soil. So I decided to spend a little extra and get the best I could find. After going to the trouble of planting 120 fir saplings at the farm, and then cutting 3'x3' squares of landscape fabric to go around them to keep the grass and weeds down, I wanted to pin down the fabric so it doesn't blow around and end up covering over the saplings.These are better than I expected. Very heavy gauge, the ends are beveled for easy insertion into the ground - I have soil with quite a few rocks and used a small hand sledgehammer to drive some of these home and not a single one bent. The 12" depth leaves the staple solidly and firmly planted in the ground.The only time I can imagine there being a problem is if you had loose, fluffy soil. But I've never been somewhere where the soil is that consistency a full foot down. For my purposes these were perfect, and that doesn't happen very often. Well worth the slight extra cost over the short, spindly-wire ones.

Strong, non corrosive ; easy to install, even in harder soil

This must be my 4th / 5th box over the years. By far the best for the price / quantity I see out there. Not made of the thin metal used in so many others, these won't bend when they hit the slightest rock in the dirt. And the 200 count allows you to use them generously and actually keep the fabric / tubes in place vs sparsely using because you are always down to your last 10 stakes. Make adjustments years later and the stakes pull out of the ground and are still usable vs the ones that have been completely corroded.

Love the size, love the price. They worked great for our project.
