I just purchased two more of these LED Tiki Torches.I bought six of them in 2015 and have had them outside in my backyard in florida. I have had to change the batteries and do some maintenance on them, like cleaning out some rust and using tin foil between a few of the batteries and the battery contacts, but they still work. My only complaint was after 4+ years of sun and UV exposure the white diffuser cups started to degrade and breakdown. I took a chance and contacted Newhouse Lighting. Not only did I hear back from them very quickly, but the informed me that they would send me out six replacement diffusers. This is not a high end or very expensive product so I am impressed that they have lasted this long and worked so well. For the company to send me replacement diffusers free of charge and ship them for free was just way over the top. I give their Customer service SIX Stars!

We really love these solar torches, just a couple tips from what I found.1. The lights only stayed lit for about 3-4 hours with the stock 600mah nic-d batteries so I replaced them with the 2400mah Amazon basics high performance nim-h and they now stay lit full power for 10-12 hours. Definitely worth the extra few dollars I spent on batteries.2. Living in Las Vegas the ground is extremely hard and rocky and the included plastic spikes can be easily broken if trying to force them into this kind of terrain. I found that it’s much easier to hammer a 2 foot piece of rebar in the ground as the post of the light is completely hollow and just slides over the rebar.I would’ve definitely given a 5 star rating if the included batteries were better, but then we stay up late so like them to be on for longer.

The media could not be loaded.  These are the next best thing to real tiki torches. No, they don't keep bugs away and they aren't spotlight bright. However, they are great accent pieces for a nice patio or deck. I bought four initially to make sure that they looked nice and worked. Once they arrived, I kept them in my backyard in view of my bedroom to watch their longevity and brightness. I was sold after night one and I ordered 12 more to surround my entire back patio. I have included dusk + night time photos as well as a video clip to show how they flicker. My next door neighbor sent me a text about a month after I put them in commenting on how much she loves the look of my tikis and the realistic flicker that they have. They last all night long, most of them are still flickering when the sun rises the next morning.

I am giving these a generous 2 stars because when they work they look pretty cool. However, in the 1 week I had to order 2 replacement solar toppers because 2 STOPPED WORKING. Now here I am in week 2 and a 3rd has stopped working. I have not started a return on my $100 investment here as of yet because I desperately want them to work. I agree with another review that it is very difficult to get them in the ground straight!!!!! They are composed of 4 plastic tubes assembled by connector pieces. The plastic tubing is too weak to support the top heavy tiki at the top. An aluminum or iron upgrade would solve this problem. $100 is a lot for 2 sets of trouble shooting. Likely a continuous cycle of replacement parts. I WISH IT WEREN'T SO!

I purchased then received 4 sets of these on June 20th, and set them up with no difficulty. They all worked great for about three weeks, then one faded one night and finally wouldn't come on at all the next night. I ordered new rechargeable batteries for it (on Amazon, but they weren't Prime), installed them when they arrived almost two weeks later, and no dice. Nothing. So I love the 7 torches I have that actually work, but now have one that clearly is defective. The product box says they have a one year warranty, but Amazon shows only a thirty day warranty. I went to try to replace it tonight and Amazon says I'm two days past my thirty day mark, so I can't. These were Prime and were sold and fulfilled by Amazon. I've tried finding the manufacturer (Adamax) info online but no address or info on how to leverage their one year warranty. Also had no info on or in the original package, which I saved just in case. But the box clearly states it has a one year warranty. I'd just like to get a replacement that works so i will have the full set of eight that functions! I bought that many for specific landscape design needs and now it just looks odd with one that won't light. I don't want to have to buy another one because it did die in the first three weeks, so is clearly a manufacturing defect...yet Amazon won't let me replace and maker has no info on how to leverage their warranty. This is VERY frustrating! I buy a lot on Amazon and I'd expect better resolution than this. But I gave a four star rating since the other torches do look great, work well, stay lit most of the night, and my neighbors all comment on how great they look. The replacement challenge and the fact that one died so fast is what knocked the other star off.

I bought these and put them up last night. Within 2 hrs, one stopped working, and tonight another one has conked it in. They were described as being "natural bamboo finish". They are plastic, and it shows from 15 meters away. Not natural looking at all during daylight. Now half of my purchase give a feeble flickering light, which is nice in the dark, but the other half are completely invisible in the dark, as they don't go on. An absolute waste of money. Since these are not actually sold by amazon, I doubt I can get a refund. Not impressed at all.

Works very well. Lights up nicely, flickering flame looks very realistic. The poles though are rather flimsy once they are put together, would probably blow over or break, so what I did was get a piece of 5 ft rebar, bang that into the ground with a hammer, then slid the pole overtop- works well, much more sturdy. Been out in the rain, snow, still works fine.

I am changing my review after a few weeks of using the lights. They no longer charge even in direct sunlight. They worked for a couple of weeks only.

Just exactly what I was looking for. Had some years ago that I bought locally, but couldn't find any replacements until I found the 'Tikiled4' on Amazon. Bought a set for my son's birthday and also another set for myself. Perfect! They add a great atmosphere to our gardens and are, most importantly, safe! Thank you! :)

I have bought several brands and styles of solar tiki yard lights over the years as I live on the beach. The most authentic look I've gotten is from these lights. They originally had a metal ground stake which I reuse when the plastic ones break on the later purchases. I also use matching duct tape to strengthen the pole where it goes over the base stake as they are also prone to breaking in a strong breeze. I've had to replace the batteries and do repairs but they're better and more realistic than several other brands I've tried.
