Highly recommended
It's very rare that I give a book 5 stars, however, I feel this book deserves it. It is well written and no chapter is wasted - every chapter is important and straight to the point, with many examples. The book explains in great detail how obsession can occur. It has opened my eyes to how I became obsessed with someone in my own life - it was uncanny how everything stated in the book is what I experienced from the person I was obsessed with, and I now know the warning signs. It was an interesting read and I couldn't put the book down. I actually read it twice. The information contained in the book is also useful when starting a relationship / building rapport with someone you're interested in according to that person's needs. It's a good psychology book in general, and a lot of the information can be used in everyday life with friends and colleagues. As the author mentions in the book, the information can be used for good and bad purposes and a true life story is told where devastating results occurred due to misuse. So it comes with a hefty warning that the information contained in this book is powerful and should not be misused!Highly recommended for people looking to start a relationship. I also recommend this book to people who are interested in psychology in general. There are lots of examples from the authors personal life in the book and she clearly knows what she is talking about. As a result of reading and enjoying this book, I am very keen to read another book from the author, called 'how to psychoanalyse someone'.
