Timeline Classic

This was a great gift for friends who are both history lovers and board game lovers. It provided entertainment for about an hour and they also take it on trips to play with friends. It makes it fun to learn new facts and also become surprised at the timeline of historical events and inventions.

LOVE this game. My 9yo LOVES this game and it is teaching her while she thinks she is just having fun! Small game, so it doesn't take up a lot of room. And super easy to learn to play. It is a quick game to play, will not, or at least should not take hours out of your day to play one round.

We played this the first time at a pub in Iceland. When we returned to the states, I ordered all of the editions, and we play it regularly when family or friends are over. You don't have to be good at it to have fun!! We take at least one of the games whenever we travel. Love it!!

This is a fun game, and can be played by those from about 10 years to over 100, all at the same time. Some dates will astonish you, and others will be difficult to place in the timeline as the game progresses. While you will begin to remember some of the dates the more you play the game, this original version is easily compatible with other focused versions, which increases the difficulty, and fun.We gave it as a gift to visiting family, played it a lot while they were here, and are ready to buy another copy (and maybe another version or two) for ourselves.

I loved this game so much that I bought it for my Dad for Father's Day. MY parents loved the game, but the cards are small which was hard for all the older people to see. Just a heads up for those buying!

I loved how this game leveled the field and brought a multi-generational family together in friendly competition because it has cards from the last few years old the way back to egyptians. Grandma even won a few rounds and she never wins games. It was also so fun to see the teens helping the younger kids with hints. Best of all, everyone put down their electronics for a few hours of fun and bonded over what they did and didn't know. Money well spent! Super easy to play and catch on to.Hope they come out with more cards bc I can see the kids memorizing them (not a bad thing to know historical context) fairly quickly.

Great game and gift! Can only be played by the same people a few times as once you know the timeline it's no longer challenging... but well worth it for the price!! Also fun to combine different sets of timeline card packs to make things more challenging and extend the life of the pack. 👍🏻

I wish there were more cards in this pack. We only had to play a few times to pretty much memorize all the dates. It's still a fun game and it might be fun to combine a few versions of the game but this one was a bit of a letdown I guess.

Very handy play for Adults with little space as in assisted living quarters. Can play up to four adults, excellent brain exercise.
