Is there a way to know if the solution is neutralised without putting the contact lens in your eye? (i.e. if to find out when the disc is finished?

Yes, the solution is neutralized when there are no more bubbles. I'm not sure how long it takes because I usually leave it to work overnight. The next day, the solution is clear and 'flat' (no bubbles) just like a saline solution. I have used this product for years and I think it is fantastic.
