Scandaleux.

very lightweight and small
I love this bag so far. I suffer from being too warm in a sleeping bag, in the summer. I live in BC Canada, south. This bag is big enough for an average sized male, or even a bit larger... but not to keep warm. It's very light, weighs near nothing and can easily be stuffed into a quart (litre-ish) sized bottle. It lofts out well, and would be warm on top of a good quality sleeping pad, in a tent, in the late spring to early fall (in southern BC). That said, in warmer climes... adjust that to deeper into the fall and further back into the spring. The gem of this bag is that it is really high quality down in the baffles, and will keep you warmer if need be, or cooler, if need be (insulation goes both ways). This bag should be tested for any committed adventures you may want it for, but aren't sure of the temperature range of the nights in the area and time of season you'll be using it. I would estimate that it should be used for a summer bag only, in Canada and like latitudes, but could easily be used for a 3 season bag in warmer latitudes (that don't have wild variations of temperature from day to night). And, if it fits your temperature use, it is a comfy bag all round, delicate, and you will be able to carry ten of them without noticing the weight. I'll be using mine for late spring, early fall and summer... for the insulating factor (blocking out heat) and as an inner bag with my much, much heavier 3 season bag in the early and late spring and fall. If you want very warm for a bag, this isn't it. If you need uber-light and a summer bag that is comfy in heat, this is a very great choice. Btw, it's not so 'mummylike" in the feet area that you can't move your legs and feet around. And it's surprisingly long for such a light bag. I'm 5' 10" and I fit in it with a bit to spare. I'm also very muscular and handsome (at night), so I get a bit warm due to muscle density and mass, and need to move around. The bag isn't huge, but it's also pretty ample in the shoulders and feet areas... which is a complaint with many sleeping bags (especially mummy bags) that are being sold out of China and other such nations where the people are a bit smaller. Enjoy, good product, well made, so light you may have to tie a penny to it to keep track of it.

Great backpack bag
This is a wonderful backpack bag. It's super small, packs well, and seems very well put together.I wouldn't put a great deal of stock in the 11 degree C/52 F comfort rating, even on a very high r-rating sleeping pad. On an R4+ pad, with both base layer and down on, in single digits Celsius, this bag was uncomfortably cold. I've since added a liner, and suspect that is going to make a large difference. other than the temp rating, though, I am very happy with the bag. Came with the compression sack and the off-season sack for storage, and came much faster than expected. As long as the temps you'll be in work, you'll be happy with the bag.Note: this bag is nylon inside and outside, so it might come as a shock to you if you're expecting the nylon outer/cloth inner layout. Doesn't affect performance, but might be something to consider as far as what you sleep in.
