Flair-It16860 Plastic Cap Fitting, 0.5" Size

Ok, full disclosure: I just wanted to write a review for the Amazon purchase that least needs to be reviewed. This is it. What can one say? It's a cap. Do some caps not cap?? I heartily endorse this cap.

My low pressure drain lines were leaking under pressure. The factory caps were junk and you can't find these caps at the hardware store. Pulled the old caps off and put these on (the new ones had rubber washers in the caps) pressurized and no leaks. I am getting a couple more for spares!

Attempting to cap my ice maker line. Came apart as soon as I turned the water on.

We have one of these on the underside of our travel trailer where the freshwater tank drains. Unfortunately, while on the road, a rogue rock hit the old one and cracked it, which made us lose all our fresh water. These are hard to find at hardware stores, I had to get a 1/2" NPT cap to get us by (which leaked a little bit) until I could get the real thing. If you need one, buy two and keep the extra in your RV just in case you are on the road and need one.

Surprisingly hard to find in this style, it fit perfectly on my fresh water tank pec drain tube.

Took off the 5 rating just because of the price. Fairly captive audience other than actual RV stores.

Lost the factory ones from my trailer and could not find anywhere locally. These are perfect for my low water drain lines. Bought 4 to be prepared for the next time I lose them.

Works perfect for my RV's water tank. I keep a spare in my toolbox just in case :)
