I’ve been using this color for several years. Always easy and looks great! I like how I’m not over processing the rest of my hair.Medium blonde has been hard to find in stores lately, so I’m glad I can buy here and at a good price.

My hair is med blond with lighter highlights. I'm 44, but have inherited some early graying on my sides/temples that looks white now. It mostly blends in as I've gone lighter with my highlighting over the years, so I've gotten away with not covering the gray for awhile. It has started to bother me more though and I really didn't want to get it professionally done (I've cut & highlighted my own hair since I was 11) When I saw this kit, I was hopeful that this was my cheap, at home answer! IT IS!!!! I went with the medium blonde color. It blends with the general gold tones of my hair and covers the white just enough. Super easy to use (as I'm used to the brush on highlights kits) I'm so happy to have this solution to keep my hair young-ish looking over the years.

Tried this for the very first time. Convenient with the dye and peroxide. Just unscrew the top bottle and pour it into the bottom bottle, shake with bottle top screwed on, then remove and screw on the applicator. I didn’t like the application brush it came with as it was really hard to use. It is all they give you to apply the dye. I couldn’t get the dye out and if I squeezed the bottle too hard it came out in a blob. I kind of got the hang of it after a while, and of course by then it was empty. I will say the coverage is good, but since I have really resistant white hair (like Mrs. Claus white)...lol I chose to leave it in longer and I didn’t need to as it got a little darker than I wanted. Will try it again and just not leave it in as long. I tried Clairol’s root touch and even though they use a separate brush for application the coverage and color wasn’t as good. I use a #6 color, and even though I was a little dark (my own fault for not following directions) the shade matched good and a week later color still looks good. It didn’t with Clairol's. Faded really fast just with the first two shampoos.

This L'Oreal Paris Magic Root Rescue is super-handy to have during this crazy Corona Virus time. I wanted something I could use at home while the salons were closed. Decided to give this a try, as I am a fan of other L'Oreal products. I like that there is a tamper-proof seal on both openings of the box, top and bottom. This little bottle actually does my whole head of roots, which I was surprised about, since my hair is thick. I do keep it on 15 - 20 minutes for better gray coverage and it works well. I used it with the brush attachment to get it on the roots well. Now I don't want to go back to the salon and pay much more. This does not last quite as long as the salon dye, so I may alternate once I start feeling like I want to go out again for hair care. I am so glad I came across this product. I will keep using it at least every other time and save some money!

I dye my hair with L’Oreal 5R Light Auburn, so I thought this would be perfect for my roots. Application was super easy and mess-free! That said, the color match was pretty awful lol - pics show before and after. I left it on for 10 minutes, but after washing it out, my roots looked bright orange! I then used the rest of the tube to add more and let it sit for an additional 10 minutes, and it darkened to the mahogany color seen in the photo. I’m sure there’s user error on my part, but this product is designed for at-home users so I’m a bit disappointed.

im in my 40s and drop $200 or more at salons for my long hair. i had tried coloring my own hair once 24 years ago and it turned green so I never attempted again out of fear, turning into a slave to salons.I had a new job coming up and no time for a salon visit. i desperately needed to cover up my roots and took a chance on this. omg I love it so much! Ive used it at least 4 times in the past 3 months. I wish I knew of it sooner. The color is perfect, it’s so easy you can’t mess up. Its one of my favorite products now!

I am so delighted with this product!It was easy to use and very economical! In 10 minutes, my grey's were covered! I will definitely buy this product again!

I have really long thick black Asian hair - I'm early 30s and a few white hairs have been popping up. Totally normal of course, but because of my black hair, the white really stands out!! I don't hate the color, I hate the contrast!So I bought this to spot dye some stray white strands. I mix a little bit of the dye together at a time (keeping the rest unmixed and in the original bottles) and apply it to the few strands that are near the top of my head. Wow - it worked perfectly! After rinsing and drying, I cannot even tell where I dyed my hair and where my natural black begins. Lifesaver!!!
