Ink dries instantly....literally!
Admittedly, I just bought these pens and I'm using the first one for the first time today, but I love, love, LOVE these pens! I got the 5-pen multicolor pack with needle tip (0.5 mm ball). It glides smoothly on the paper with no skipping at all.I had become so fed up with my previous gel pens (Pilot G2) because I was constantly smearing the ink when filling out greeting cards, even on matte finish paper and as a right-hander. I recently filled out a questionaire in which you filled in the circles, using a Pilot pen and I had to let it dry for more than a day before I could put it in the envelope.Enter the EnerGel Liquid Gel Ink pens! I absolutely LOVE these pens so far. They're very comfortable in the hand, they glide so easily that my signature is noticeably better and almost effortless. That's coming from an MS patient who has had difficulty signing smoothly for years. But what I'm impressed about the most is the speed at which the ink dries. The reason I bought these pens was because the ink was said to dry very fast. I did a test this morning, writing a short line and then trying to smear it, each time sooner than the last. I was amazed when I was able to rub my fingers across the ink line as soon as I finished writing it! Who ever heard of an ink drying that fast, while freely flowing from the pen? It will be interesting to see if they keep writing without drying out, but I haven't seen any reviews mentioning that. Thanks, EnerGel, for a truly outstanding pen! :)

Five Stars!
When I bought this product, I did not have high hopes for it. Most of the gel pens that I've tried in the past create gel puddles, don't dry fast enough and run out of ink too quickly. I was happy to find out that these pens wrote smoothly (with no ink puddles) and the ink never skipped. This is the fastest drying gel pen that I've ever tried! It dries almost as soon as it touches the paper The rubber grip is also very comfortable. (+ the pen is 50% recycled!) Bleeding was not a problem for me. I would definitely buy this product again. Highly recommend!BTW I'm not sure why this happened, but my black, blue, and red pens were made in Mexico, while my purple and green were from Japan. ??

The only thing these would be good for is refills to another pen
These pens say made in Mexico, and are not the same quality as the ones made in Japan. The plastic cracks where one piece of the pen screws in to the other piece, so the back shoots off the pen while you're using it. I've tried duct taping it together but that doesn't work for long. The only thing these would be good for is refills to another pen, because they actually do write very well and it's my favorite type of pen (the Pentel Energel brand), but the ones I got must be a bad batch because they're all breaking.

Pen Snob Approved!
I use a weird bullet journal type style for organizing my work day, where I list each task leaving 2 lines in between each. As I work on the task throughout the day, I add notes in those 2 extra lines in a different color. I write small enough as to fit 2 lines of notes within each line provided, so a fine pen is a must.I also need a pen that doesn’t smudge since I’m squeezing a lot of notes into a small space which these pens are perfect for.I’m a HUGE stickler when it comes to a smooth writing pen that doesn’t skip and this pen performs perfectly… even better than the Pilot G2 in my opinion. The only rival I’ve found so far is the Sharpie S-Gel but I’ve only been able to try the 0.7mm so far so it’s not a great comparison. The only very minor drawback is that they smear a bit if I use a highlighter right away. This is avoided if I wait a bit, which is what I typically do anyway. I found it smears even less than the Pilot G2 but slightly more than the Sharpie S-Gel 0.7mm which really surprised me.I don’t have amazing handwriting like most that post these type of comparison pics but alas, a picture is worth a thousand words.

Great for taking notes daily.
As a student who prefers taking notes in pen, I really like these. I've previously tested other brands, and out of all of them, these are my favorite and fit my use case.Pros:1) Comfortable - Good grip, and it really just glides on the paper. No problems going lecture after lecture and going ham in my notebook.2) Great colors - I primarily use black/blue depending on the class, and the other colors are vibrant for underlining/boxing/sketching diagrams3) No bleed - At least for me, I use Kokyuo paper and some notebooks I get at an Asian stationary shop, both are a tad thicker than looseleaf.Cons:1) 0.5 vs 0.7. There's almost no difference between the 0.7 ad 0.5 versions of these pens. Uni-ball has a 0.5 that's actually thinner.2) Purple is actually kinda useless. Don't get me wrong, the pen works just as well, it's just that I find the color unnecessary when I can get by with blue/black/red/green alone. But hey if you want a purple pen, go nuts.

They come loose and won't screw back in...
Very disappointed in this company. This has been my all time favorite pen until this purchase. They are different now and come apart right above the blue grip. It's impossible to screw back in. I began using them January 2nd, and two of them fell apart within a week. I'm just waiting on the third to follow suit. Such a shame because they are excellent writing pens. I feel like I just flushed my money down the drain. I no longer recommend.

Doctors love it
I bought this pen for my wife who is a medical doctor in A&E and she really loves it. She uses in her shifts all the time. She even said this might be the best pen I've ever used. It leaves no smudge and the grip is really comfortable. You can buy one and try it yourself. I don't usually write a review but I appreciate the good products.

Amazing product
Bought them a while ago and they are amazing...nothing bad to say about them, the quality is top notch and they last forever (still use them as normal after 4 months). The line is just the right thickness and black is black....like really black.

Nice Gel pen with fine point
Smooth writing experience. The ink flow continously and I don't experience any interruption in ink flow even if I frequently drop the pen. I write tiny so the needle point is perfect for me as the ink does not bleed making my handwriting (almost) readable. The rubber grip makes it easy to hold and use. I already bought the refills as I really like the writing experience.
