Cal Hawk Tools BSSTS22 22Piece Torx Socket Set

I think we've all seen those cheap socket sets that are bulky and brittle and lightweight. This is NOT one of those! This set is as good as my Craftsman, SK, and NAPA sets. (I can't compare them to Snap-on because I can't afford to buy that brand.) The sockets are polished chrome and the noses on the smaller sizes are appropriately narrowed so you don't have this monstrous socket on some tiny screw like you get in those junk sets. Even the case is top notch: hard durable plastic with a good hinge, latch, and labeled indentations to hold all the sockets in place. If you're hesitating to buy because, like me, you've never heard of Cal Hawk and you're unsure of the quality of this set, I can tell you that the quality of this set is first rate.Now, I need to point out one thing: If you're buying this set to get at the E4 screws on a GM ignition switch, the E4 deep socket in this set will just BARELY reach. I was able to do it on my 2001 Safari but it was close. You would probably be better off buying one of the dedicated sockets that I saw offered here on Amazon. I bought this set because I figured I got a whole box of sockets for just a little more money than buying the one extra long E4 designed to fit the GM application. So, while I'm not disappointed in my purchase, if I had to do this job again, I would buy the single socket.

Needed these to work on late model bmw and merc vehicles. I dummy do much so I did not want to spend several hundred on Snap-on tools. These do great. I'll upgrade if I need but it seems as they are strong enough for non impact grade tools. Also nice to see such a wide variety in sizes.

Bought these two remove my seats in my Silverado, I had to get this set because I needed a T20 deepwell, you have to buy deep well sockets to get the seats out

I was about to buy a different set when I came across this one. Although this one is a little more expensive than others (but still a steal IMO), the fact that this set has both standard and deepwell sockets in both 3/8" and 1/4" drives sealed the deal for me. I used these for removing the transmission bolts on my BMW, some of which required a great deal of force to break free. These sockets held up to the stress with no issues. The case is also good quality. All in all, this set is a great deal.

Nice Case and all the sizes covered shallow and deep. I can now get to all those funny bolts on my E93...

bought this but ended up not having the size I needed. learned that you can use 6 point sockets to remove the nuts I needed to remove so i could change my truck carpeting.

Not Snap On quality, but then again, you probably cant buy one Snap on socket for the price of this set.Decent enough quality that should be sufficient for non professional application. It works great in my use to remove the front seats of my Mercedes.Good tight fits and handled the required torque with ease.The US importer paid the Chinese factory enough so they did a good job on my set.

High quality, low price. Id have paid double for this had i bought it anywhere else and the quality is excellent.
