Q Sharp 7 Piece High Quality Sekitobei Knife Block Set Includes Japanese Style Santoku Knives with Super Hard HR55 Rockwell Hardness Steel, Sharpener and Bamboo Block

I purchased this a few weeks ago to replace my old set of knives. I bought the 7 piece set which includes a knife sharpener.The knives arrived packaged individually with the block in a separate box as seen on the picture. Each of the pieces feel sharp and easy to use. I like the fact that the knives are made from one single piece of metal instead of being attached to a plastic handle which tend to get dirty and rusty over time.The knives aren't as heavy as I thought they'd be but they are all sharp and cut through stuff easily and make the task of chopping a lot quicker and smoother than it was with my old, cheap knife set.The sharpener comes in handy as it is a set of knives that I feel I want to take care of and keep in good shape.Each of the pieces fit nicely into the wooden block apart from the smaller knife which seems to have too big of a hole in the block and sometimes wobbles a bit if you don't place it in carefully.The block itself looks great and feels of very good quality. The writing in Japanese isn't as dark as pictured but I think it looks great as it seems to have been burnt on the wood instead of painted on.Overall, I am happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend it to anyone who's looking to buy good quality knives without having to dish out hundreds of pounds.

They look good and they are perfect if you want to impress as the materials are good quality and all shiny. Unfortunately, I'm a practical person and returned them as they were too big (even the smallest) and the largest was huge! So very unnecessary in my kitchen. Can't tell if they were sharp, sorry.

2nd Purchase this time for my self these look and feel very high quality. I'd suggest to sharpen on each use to keep them going as you should with any knife.

Love these. Cut like steel, look like steel and they SOUND like steel. I bought a single ceramic carving knife for about £35 and broke it the first time I used it as it appears they can't have ANY sideways flex applied to them. These are less than £60 for the full set. You will WANT to treat them well. Delighted.........even enough to be bothered to voluntarily write a review.
