I'm new to bonsai and have only used these on conifer that I thinned out and then made into a fan. And the tree is still alive!The different-sized wires are useful for anchoring the tree, and for branches of varying thickness. Once wrapped around, they hold their place well and make adjusting the branches very easy.A set of clippers is included and this cuts through all of the wires easily. I also use it for pruning.This set is great for beginners and there is ample wire for many trees.

Havent used the wire or cutters yet but arrived on time and all looks to be professional kit.

Some of the choice of wire needs to be thicker other wise very good selection and the wire cutters are a superb addition

I would have preferred if the difference gauge of wire were all the same colour.

Good value for money. Snips do the job. They will cut up to 5mm wore with ease. Very nice selection of thicknesses and plenty of length. Obviously reusable
