100 Baggers: Stocks That Return 100-to-1 and How To Find Them : Christopher W. Mayer: desertcart.in: Books Review: A Great Book on 100 Baggers - This is a great book on 100 bagger stocks. This book is like a sequel to Thomas Phelps book 100 to 1 in the Stock Market. This is a concise book which extends the concept of 100 bagger stocks from 1962 to 2014. There were 187 stocks which gave 100 bagger returns during this period. The book is written in a lucid manner with excellent commentary on different aspects of 100 baggers. The author has quoted other great investors such as Warren Buffet, Charlie Munger, Philip Fisher, Martin Whitman, Mark Howard etc. There is a section on investment style and very impressive investment record of Lord John Maynard Keynes, the great economist. The book also covers a study of 100 baggers by Motilal Oswal. The importance of company management and ways to evaluate the same is discussed in detail. The book will help all long term investors in equities in identifying and staying invested with potential 100 bagger stocks. Review: Simple and Powerful - Generally am a long term investor and after reading this book, thinking about 100 bagger rather than JUST profits in stocks Practical examples from US market are really helpful to understand the stocks and how it works

100 Bagger Potential Returns ~ Believe me they are not an Elixir !
100 Baggers need not be just a Metaphor ~ that's 10000 % returns !~Have been credited with three in Indian Equities and all inside 3 to 5 years ~Wipro,Matrix Labs & Mercator ~ In this Meltdown I'm looking for Merciless Markets for my next 100 Bagger/s & Christopher Mayer's recent sequel to Thomas Phelps 1972 effort serves as a timely Reminder of holding that fundamental conviction of creating Life Changing Wealth through Equity, albeit it may take longer than 3 to 5 years ~ Chris' study showed it too a median of 26 years for the 365 Companies identified as 100 Baggers till 2014 to become so with the fastest 10 doing it from 4 to 7 years. It also broke a myth that one needs to look at tiny companies as the median Market Cap was US $ 500 m.Interestingly he concludes that one need not stay rigid with Benjamin Graham's Value Investing Approach & even rejects Jim Roger's approach because in his view it's not replicable.Read it if you're a serious investor in Equities.Good Pointers that will serve to reaffirm convictions especially when patience & temperament is being severely tested like now

A good book describing ways to examine your investing for the long-term. Many good examples of why certain stocks have increased in value 100 times. If you start young, maintain enough discipline to hold and not sell companies that fit the criteria described, you will retire wealthy. If you read it after you've retired, you'll learn that you wanted to do this decades before. A recommended book for any investors library.

Must read for investor. Changes your perspective and help you to look at world of investing from longer term perspective. Why settle for less, aim for only multi baggers.

It's a simple and much under-appreciated book. I postponed purchasing after reading a few not so good reviews but when i finally got it found it a easy, fun read, not too much of jargon and trying to simplify a heavy topic such as 100-baggers. Lots of references to investors and reading material. super follow-on to 100-to-1 and hope we get a updated one from Chris or anyone else wanting to take the baton.

Very well written and easy to read. Relatively concise in its conveyance of information. Not as detailed as Ben Graham's Intelligent Investor, yet this book packs a punch in fewer words. Thank you to the author for sharing this.
