The Torah

Beautiful Torah. Very easy read for the distracted reader.

This is the most beautiful book I’ve ever purchased. This particular Torah is worth the extra money. The hardback is covered with blue cloth, gold stitching, and the picture is framed in below the cloth. The ancient drawings throughout this Torah are in color. The paper is glossy and heavy. The artwork comes from museums, synagogues, and the first Bible. Absolutely beautiful. Worth the extra money.

After purchasing and returning several poor quality Torahs from different sellers on Amazon, I finally found this one. I am so happy with it. It is the quality that a holy book should be made. My one note would be that the gluing on the spine is cheap. It is not like the good old days, where there was some stitching and securing involved. Not sure how long the spine of the book will last, but I treated carefully and I am enjoying it immensely.

This is the second time around I have bought this little Torah (first one in burglary). It is a wonderful Torah for reading. It is small -- I like that. Printing is easy to read and the illustrations are wonderful. Not a study Torah. Personally, I would not mark this one up and OOPS!, if Jewish you don't mark in any of your religious books. Gentiles not so observant to that.

It’s a beautiful book, interesting medieval times artwork. The book is well built. Quality, through out. I love the Word of God, the author just made it that much easier to read. Highly recommend, make’s a great gift also.

This edition is a high quality illustrated book printed on glossy art paper. I like the convenient small size for carrying. The translation is old (1917) but the English reads beautifully. I like this translation even though some unusual old words are thrown in. The print is very small. No additional commentary or notes are contained, which is a drawback. Also the chapter headings are listed in the front page of each book but then not throughout the text.

Even though this is not an English/Hebrew book, its beatiful images disposed in between the passages of the text made it worth every penny. Really great selection of artworks and concise but faithful translation make this book a superb acquisition. I would recommend for everyone interest interested in Jewish religion and/or Jews in Diaspora that are not fully acquainted to Hebrew language. Indeed, it surpassed my expectatives for the price. Great cover, unusual pages and other features made this book an easy choice.

I loved the book but wished the print was bigger. I didn't want a replacement, I wanted a refund.

As someone who don't have a background of any biblical knowledge this book was easy to read for me

We will note the illustrations being really good and a history remembering, but the translation is less favourable.

Fine quality print, pictures take you to ancient times, but sad thing is hard cover name and boarder design not lasts Even two months

But there is something that I didn't like it , the small text ( Or maybe because I wear a glasses 🙅🏽)

This is a beautifully bound book; nice pages, gorgeous illustrations. you may as well buy it just because it looks so good on the shelf! Every person today should have a basic knowledge of the major world religions and this book is invaluable to expanding your knowledge of the Abrahamic religious traditions.
