Pros I like the heavier weight of these
I had wanted a pair of these for a long time but never got around to it.Now that I have them I wish I would have gotten them sooner.I play on an electronic kit so they didn't have any effect on tone from the toms or how the cymbals sound.ConsAt first the balance felt weird coming from wood sticks. It didn't take long for that to go away though.I have cold hands and the handle area is a little slippery until my hands warm up. There is some grip tape you can put on them but I don't really want to cover up the scary guy.So far those are the only negatives I can think of.ProsI like the heavier weight of these. They feel solid and rebound well.I don't think these would ever wear out on my electric kit. And they don't leave little paint or wood marks on the drums. The different balance seems to work for me. This one is more personal but for me these swing better than wood sticks. They look sweet 👍

Love Them
I've been using the Lars Ulrich Ahead sticks for 10 years and I have no plans to stop using them. They're durable, powerful, and bada$$. For rock and metal, I don't think there is a better pair of sticks out there. That said, they're not optimal for every genre, nor are they for every drummer. There's nothing wrong with a pair of good ol' Vic Firths. The Ahead sticks last much longer and don't leave dirt rings around the rims of cymbals that wood sticks often do. They also don't litter your floor with wood shavings, as wood sticks do. If only Lars wasn't a modern-day sloppy joe!

Heavy hitting without giving it all you have
I purchased a fat beat set of the Ahead sticks. I really liked them, but realized I would prefer a thicker stick. The Lars version seemed to have all the size, weight, and length. Basically on paper the ideal stick for me. I know after playing with the Fat Beat version I need the Pro-Mark stick wrap. So I got some for these upon ordering this set. Well, I retired the rest of my sticks. This set is great.

Amazing drumsticks
Hands down the best drumsticks I've ever owned or played with. I highly recommend these bad boys, they have that perfect weight and length to be able to jam out for hours.

I recommend these drum sticks
High quality and durability. Nice metal grip that works well even when my hands are sweating. Delivered on time. And I love the style.

Heavy AF!
I rarely use these as they are far too heavy to play for a long time without tiring prematurely. I should have chosen a lighter option. Very sturdy and look great. Just too heavy for me.
