Comparing these to $50 ABEC 8 Bear Spaceballs Ceramic which I do love. New & fresh, these cheapo bearings hit almost the same minimal friction as the pricey bearings, giving great speed-acceleration & coasting-carving. That right there makes the half price an excellent good deal. Next, wear: after 40/50ish miles of dirty & dusty roads, hills, and bikepath trails on a longboard, these Heady Shakes do drop off in performance more than the pricey bearings. The key here is maintenance - they respond very well to being pulled, sprayed with electrical cleaner while being turned, blown out with an air compressor, re-oiled (only 1 drop per bearing), and re-installed. Their outside bearing race faces have a decent shield but bearing-killing grit still gets in. Get lazy and keep riding them dirty and they get slow AF quickly.

Great bearings for price. Very smooth and allow your board to roll forward without resistance. Not professional quality, but great for beginners, intermediates, and those looking to cruise. Would buy again.

The bearings that worked are a significant improvement over the ones I had in my board. Theyre super easy to install and comparing them to my old bearings which would spin for 7 seconds, these would spin for 16. Unfortunately they sent me a rusted one the first time around. After I left my initial review, both Jason and Lia from the company contacted me to send their apologies and follow up with me on my replacement. They assured me they would speak with their production facility and remedy the problem. They sent me a few extra sets of bearings and some lube for my trouble. I'm very happy with Heady Shake and appreciate their concern for the customer.

the packaging was really nice and neat. not sure if they need to be broken in or if they just suck lol. it’s seems that my lubed up bearings that didn’t have washers or spacers spin faster then these ones (which i did lube up as well).

Seven of the eight bearings included are great, the last one turns very roughly and only if you force it. Unfortunately, one bad bearing is enough for me to not be able to use the set. I've messaged the seller and I'm hoping they can just send me a replacement for the defective one so I don't have to deal with returning and then reordering the entire set. UPDATE They sent me an entire new set of bearings for free, haven't rode them a ton yet but so far they maintain faster speeds for longer than the stock ABEC 7 bearings that came with my board. Customer service was on point, only bad thing was it took several extra days for the second set of bearings to come in which was slightly annoying.

These bearing have terrible QC - 3 of the 8 worked amazing. The others where cheap and gritty. Go with a pair of $15 zealous bearings. Your better off than buying these unreliable ones. Cannot recommend!

These are the best bearings on the market. My daughter is a professional skater training for the Olympic who exclusively skates Heady Shake bearings. The she skates both the longboard Built-ins and the professional skateboarder bearings. She was skating on her super Swiss ceramics and asked me to switch out her bearing and wheels to Heady Shakes because she wanted to skate faster.

Excellent bearings for the price. Soooo smooth. Why buy expensive bearings when those are awesome! Can’t wait to put some miles on it.

It looks great however it doesn't fit my Inline skates as described. I got it to fit the wheels however the built-in spacers make it bulky and can't fit the frame. Keep in mind Inline skaters / rollerbladers.
