An Evening with Beverly Luff Linn [Region B]

What an odd little film...
Thoroughly enjoyed watching it, but I have no idea why. It was immersive and full of quirky characters and I was never bored, but at the same time, never actually entertained. I'd probably have to watch it a couple of times to really get it, but I doubt I'll ever be in exactly the right frame of mind to want to sit through it again. All I can say is watch the trailer. If you like that, you'll like the film...

What did I just watch........!?
Well there’s 104 mins of my life I won’t get back......Total cobblers! With Matt Berry in it I expected riotous off kilter comedy joy, all I got was a feeling of disappointment & bad wind!

Save your money till you can access it for free.
I really wanted to love this movie, I love Aubrey Plaza and the rest of the cast, but for me it really wasn't that funny (apart from the terrible clothes and wigs). A bit of a letdown.

Darkly comedic
Loved the music. Amazingly odd film. Not for everyone

Funny and quirky movie
From the Director of The Greasy Strangler - low budget comedy with a surprise ending. May not be to everyone's taste but we thought it was great

Unique
After the Greasy Strangler a much sweeter but no less strange experience, Deserves cult status and Aubrey Plaza is a delight.

Quirky, bizarre, hilarious
This won't be to everyone's tastes, but if you like weird, quirky, slightly bizarre humour and oddball characters, you'll love this. Hilarious!
