Worked great out of the box
Worked great out of the box. My Iphone 7 didn't detect the device, but everything worked fine once I installed one of the many free BTLE compatible apps available on the app store. You also need a voltage divider on the RX pin because the device communicates at a 3.3v level.

does NOT work with iOS unless you use their app
Trying to configure this via a console, many AT commands missing. Can not be seen even by the light-blue app. I *think* it's a clone as it appears that the 2nd oscillator is missing.

Do not buy this product
They say it works with iOS. It doesn't work well at all! I tried several different apps and tutorials. All failed. Until they perfect this I suggest not buying it. If I could I would give it ZERO Stars!

Will not remain paired with an Android phone.
If you need to pair this with an Android phone, good luck. After a lot of trouble, I was finally able to pair this with my Android phone but that only lasted a few seconds and it unpaired. Nothing I could do would solve this problem, I tried every possible related setting within the HM-10 and it made no difference. I searched the web and there were no real solutions. Yes, you can download an app that will help get it paired but it will not remain paired and will never auto-reconnect.
