What is the real weight? 4.54 Gms or 1 Gms?

4.54gm is the Packing Weight, the Paste is 1gm.

will i be getting a newer version or old stock cause on the original website is having a different picture of the product ?

AFAIK the package has not changed. The official website shows the black and white tube for everything other from the liquid metal version. What you see here is what you get and there has been no change to the product in the tube.

Can this be used for a laptop even if I don't want to overclock my processor?

definatly you can do that for long life and stable performance also prevent from overheat.
