I had something previously that worked similarly but was made out of different material, almost like a pot holder. That material degraded over time and was allowing my iron to burn through the bottom and burn whatever it was laying on. Even though I have only had this about a month, I don’t see this doing that. It’s made out of a nice thick silicone but it’s still pliable. The price is also excellent! I would definitely buy again!

This was a spur of the moment purchase, but I use it everyday and I love it. It keeps my straightener from slipping into the sink, which has saved my sanity. And, I can put it away hot and not worry about it. Great for travel.

I used this for a couple of trips so far, I love that i don't have to wait until the curler cools before I pack. I just leave the cord out of the sleeve. At home I leave it on the counter for daily use. Planning to buy as gifts for girlfriends in some of the other colors.
